How to watch the Zurich Classic on Thursday

When a pro has already won two PGA Tour events in late April, as Matt Fitzpatrick did this year, you usually won’t see him combine it in a tournament like the Zurich Classic team event. But Fitzpatrick is bucking the trend this week, and for good reason.

The two-time RBC Heritage champion joins his younger brother Alex in Zurich. The brothers played together again in Zurich last year, but the conditions this year are very different.

In addition to Matt’s two wins, Alex also collected his first DP World Tour win of the season. So the pair are hot heading into Thursday’s opening round. And if they were to win, Alex probably wouldn’t play much on the DP World Tour. That’s because he’ll earn a two-year PGA Tour exemption if he and Matt win this week.

We will begin to see if the Fitzpatrick brothers can improve on their MC performance last year on Thursday afternoon when they play at 1:29 pm ET.

You can watch the first round of the Zurich Classic on TV with the Golf Channel starting at 3 pm ET on Thursday. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will offer exclusive coverage beginning Thursday at 8 a.m. ET, along with featured team and hole coverage throughout the day.
