Record sale as Arsenal set to sign “unbelievable” Rangers star

The Rangers are now set to seek major interest in Emmanuel Fernandez this summer, while the 49ers will seek a club-record fee to sell the defender.
Rangers are looking into Arsenal’s interest in Fernandez
It’s a big summer at Ibrox for many reasons. Danny Rohl’s first summer transfer window is Ibrox and it’s a great opportunity to jump ahead of Celtic and Hearts in the Scottish Premiership.
If the German had been in charge all season, the title race would look very different right now. However, the Gers are one point behind Hearts and two points ahead of Celtic with five games to play. The Scottish Premiership will have a dramatic finish.

It’s never been easy for any team after the break in Scotland, but Celtic will be happy to welcome their rivals rather than go to tough places.
On the other hand, Rangers may decide the title in a fortnight against Hearts and play the Old Firm derby at Celtic Park. It would be an interesting way to complete their comeback and, for some players, it might be the best way to sign.

Disappointing news for Ger.
Club captain James Tavernier already looks set to head for the exit door as a free agent, and could be joined by another key defender.
According to TeamTalk, Rangers are preparing a huge interest in Fernandez and the 49ers will want a club record fee of £25m to sell the defender this summer. That would mark a £22m increase on their initial signings.
That wouldn’t be a problem for a team like Arsenal, though. The Gunners are planning a move to sign the sensational defender and even if the deal reaches £35m, it would be an easy ask for the Premier League giants to match.
The guards should get money for Fernandez
After a difficult start to life at Ibrox, Fernandes has become a mainstay since Rohl’s arrival. The Peteborough defender has started seven of the last eight Scottish Premiership games, starting 13 of the last 15. In the space of six months, he has been a key player at Ibrox.
Alas, everyone has a price. If a club-record bid arrives in the summer, Rangers should cash in on the 24-year-old and use that money to build a title-winning team in Glasgow.

While Fernandez has received praise from the likes of Kai Watson, who called the defender “unbelievable”, a fee of £25m+ would be too good for the 49ers to turn down.
