Razzball Commenter Leagues, Week 13, 2026 Fantasy Baseball

We’re 47% of the way through the fantasy baseball season, which means in a week, we’ll be halfway to the original point. My teams aren’t where I’d like them to be in midfield, but I can see the light, and maybe most of them will finish in the top third. Elly is fixed, Rooker returns, Brandon Woodruff, and Shane Bieber start this week. Does this help the injured Bobby Witt Jr. and Dominic Canzone? It is possible. This is part of the reason I like to have so many different teams and build them differently, there’s always something to focus on or strategize. It’s also fun to explore different layouts and try different things. Variety is the spice of life and everything. I had a few drafts in grades 10-12 this year and I ended up with a lot of Vlad Jr. assignments. and Tatis Jr. but, who saw them as bad? This week, I had several teams on a home run tear, but I also had a team pitching Dustin May and Stephen Kolek, who crossed streams and ended my ERA and WHIP. Give a little, take a little from the fairy goddess. Here’s what happened last week, week 13:
‘PERTY ‘PERTS
Each week we’ll take a peek at our residents to see who wants the best “professional” RCLer in the country. We’ll take notes, check postures and generally trap you. The article is also a link, so feel free to follow along as we go.
Mike C scored five points this week to move up to first place. It was a revolving door at the top, and we ended up with Mike in first place. Mike led the league in stolen bases this week and was solid across the board.
This was one of the big league hits for me this week, and it showed at the top as I gained 10.5 points and moved up three spots to eighth. Ha! Big week, I lead the RCLs in HR and RBI, and I’m still in the bottom half of the league. It’s been hard, but maybe this is the spark! I led the league in every offensive category but SBs this week and I also led in ERA.
He went the other way this week as Cram It lost five points and went from fifth to sixth place.
RAZZSLAM STANDINGS UPDATE
Each week we’ll also look at the top ten standings in our other Razzball sponsored league, RazzSlam. This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers like you.

Mike didn’t fare so well in the RazzSlam standings, dropping to sixth place overall. James Sweeney remains in the lead, while Roto_Wan enters the top five this week. Three more weeks of regular season play!
Our top movers this week were Brian Bundens (728 points and 49 spot jumps) and Philip Bladine (724 points and 51 spot jumps). Good job both of you.
FIRST FOUR SELECTIONS
Vin did an interesting job this past week looking at each team’s first four draft picks, marking their grade on the player estimator and adding them all up to see who had the lowest scores. It’s no surprise that our best team, There’s a drive to deep left field, has the lowest score at 72. This obviously doesn’t count if the player was traded, but it’s still a good exercise. It’s clear that Nick Kurtz and James Wood are doing their parts. If Bobby Witt misses overtime, that will change things a bit. You can find the Vin sheet HERE (or by clicking on the header). Find your group, learn, and see what conclusions you can reach.

W – 10 – Trix McGee (RCL 26)
SV – 9 – Team Tokyo (RCL 11)
ERA (Min. 40 IP) – 1.09 – DFresh (RCL 19) (in 41.1 IP)
WHIP (Min. 40 IP) – 0.731 – Sea Pilots (Crab Army) (in 67 IP)
I knew when I checked the stats on Saturday and had a team with a nine homer day that it was a good week for offense. I didn’t expect to lead the RCLs in HR, RBI, and batting average, as well as take the weekly record in HR and AVG. We will see if they stand up. A .352 batting average was the best weekly mark last year, so it’s possible. The Mariners also deserve a shout out for hitting a low WHIP in a 67 IP major.
Some weekly stats from VinWins:
23 teams had an ERA under 2, and 50 teams had an ERA over 6.
3 teams hit under .200, and 48 hit over .300!
89 teams had 0 saves this week!
47.6% of games played. 476 IP is ranked 1000. 667 IP is rated at max 1400.
The overall batting average is strong this week as well:
THE RACE OF THE BAG
.2717 bellows (RCL #4)
.2717 Acevedodavid15 (RCL #5)
.2710 Starfish & Coffee (RCL #19)
.2709 McQuat (RCL #24)
.2708 Pitch Please (RCL #21)
I just moved Pete Alonso and Casey Schmitt in RCL 19 to Yamamoto and Max Meyer as I’m behind in IP and leading in HR/RBI/AVG. Hopefully, I don’t do that anytime soon, but that’s where the points can be earned!
THE CHURCH GROUP
Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it last week.

Team: Man or Stroman?
League: RCL 22
Stats: AVG: .306, R: 68, HR: 19, RBI: 55, SB: 11
IP: 60, ERA: 2.25, ERA: 0.983, K: 64, W: 6, SV: 2
Summary: The most dominant season from the perennial contender, The Man or Stroman? I have been much better this week in the big week. This team hit all the homers and also had the averages, which are not true. There were many contributors to this Team of the Week effort, as 13 players hit home runs and 10 stole bases. Nick Kurtz had 3 digs and 9 ribbies to lead the way. Colson Montgomery also hit a long 3. Denzer Guzman hit 2 long balls in 7 at bats, and Lawrence Butler had a homer and a steal in just 6 ABs. Others riding both speed and power include Casey Schmitt (.555), Jung Hoo Lee, Jose Caballero, Luis Arraez, Ivan Herrera, Royce Lewis, Zack Gelof (.391/9 Runs/2 HR), and Cody Bellinger (.409/2 SB). Cam Schlittler threw 6 shutout innings and recorded 13 strikeouts to pace the pitching staff. Dustin May followed Monday’s perfect game with 6 runs in 2 innings on Sunday and was immediately removed from the team. He gave up the win and 11 Ks, though. Ben Brown, Troy Melton, Dylan Cease (5 IP/0 ER/7 K), and Daniel Palencia (3 K in 1 IP) also got the win. Tony Santillan and Cade Smith each added 1 save. The big week added 7 points to the team and extended its lead from 4.5 to 13.5. Bravo!
