No one can doubt Nusa’s ability and that was watched by everyone at the World Cup. For once, it looked like Newcastle were in a strong position to find their target and complete their hijack. However, how long that will take remains to be seen.

According to Italy’s Corriere della Sera, relayed by Sport Witness, Newcastle have topped the Nusa race, leaving AS Roma frustrated.
The Italian club have long feared a carjacking at St James’ Park and are now looking at that fear coming true, with the Magpies among the frontrunners to land the Norwegian.
What doesn’t help Roma is Leipzig’s asking price. The Serie A club are in no position to match the winger’s €60m (£51m) price tag and are offering Newcastle, who will have no problem matching that fee, a huge raise.
Although Nusa is still a work in progress after being involved in nine goals last season, the fact that one player enjoyed successful football in the Bundesliga last season suggests that an increase in output is inevitable.
