Manchester United are ready to launch a bidding war against Juventus to sign midfielder Mamadou Sangare following their defeat at Leeds on Monday.
Why does Man United want Sangare?
Artemis II has been to the moon and back in the midst of United’s recent games, with Old Trafford forced to wait for what it hoped would be the right moment. Instead, it was Leeds who found themselves shooting for the stars to create the biggest upset, centered around Lisandro Martinez’s red card.
Alas, while it was Martinez who stole the headlines, there is no hiding Manuel Ugarte, who is struggling in a Man United shirt again.
The South American, who replaced the injured Kobbie Mainoo, showed why the Red Devils are chasing reinforcements this summer.

In Ugarte, Man United have an incredibly limited midfielder. Without management, he is more than capable of getting into the side. It’s up to you that you often struggle and that’s not good for the team to have the majority of the ball against Leeds.
If the Red Devils are to progress to the Champions League qualification stages for years to come, replacing Ugarte should be a priority.

According to Calcio Mercato in Italy, as reported by Sports Witness, Man United are now ready to intensify the battle to sign Sangare ahead of Juventus this summer.
The RC Lens star played a key role in his side’s shock run against Paris Saint-Germain, and may have done enough to secure a move to Old Trafford in the coming months.
Jacek Kulig known as “amazing” in December, Sangare will be a fast development in Ugarte. The 23-year-old is better on the ball than the Man United man and is still active off the ball.
He wouldn’t steal the headlines from Tonali or Anderson, but the Mali international will solve the Red Devils’ growing problem at Old Trafford this summer.
With interest from Juventus and Chelsea, however, it remains to be seen whether INEOS will push through and sign the midfielder. They certainly aren’t afraid to spend money if needed, which can spark a high-profile bidding war.
