Looking for a San Francisco Harbor or Ship Jump?

Fantrax blessed the Cardinals Rookie OF Bryan Torres with a qualifying offer before he steps on the big league field, giving him access to Catcher and Second Base as well as his hometown Outfield. It’s interesting. I paid a lot of money to get him into a 15-team club where he was floating. Maybe he comes back to Springfield like Homer Simpson after a reality check. Perhaps he plays more every day in the outfield when he starts to catch our dream squads. I’ll have to take a Brain & Nerve Tonic to skip this far in the future, and I’m not sure the trade is worth the damage, but I’m sure Torres deserves a spot in most leagues where you have one to spare.
Athletics LHP Gage Jump (23) didn’t make it to the perfect spot six feet to the left, but who are really living their perfect lives? Jump allowed four runs on nine hits in five innings against Seattle in his big league debut at home, a minor league club in Sacramento. We should get a better idea of what his fastball-slider combo can do against big league hitters when he starts on the road. However, it is not particularly encouraging for the purposes of the dream to avoid the start of the home, but we had to choose our places in our opinion here. I benched Stephen Kolek late in the league for the Perts because I had a bad feeling about his road start against Texas coming off of his complete shutout against Seattle. I actually cut him off, to be completely honest. Why? Because who gives a shit, that’s why! Do you have anything to say? I’m kidding. I’m second to Perts despite having half my team on the injured list. I can’t really plan for a windfall apple that I’ve already squeezed the most delicious juice out of. I don’t make applesauce here. I’m sorry, what were we talking about? Oh yes, Gage Jump. Smoke them if you have them. Especially on the road. Cigarettes can really stink up a living room.
Baltimore recently promoted the six-foot-eight lefty Joseph Dzierwa (22, AA) to Double-A, and has held his own so far, recording 19 strikeouts in ten innings while allowing just one walk. A second-round pick in 2025, Dzierwa earned a promotion by posting a 2.21 ERA through 40.2 innings with 50 strikeouts against ten walks. As you’d expect from someone so tall, his changeup can be dangerous on some nights, opening up his mid-90s fastball to dominate the zone. It looks like a good choice for Bird to buy into his junior offseason at Michigan State.
Giants 3B Parks Harber (24, AA) has the 80th grade name for a football player. And in addition, he came with the organization of the coastal city. You can’t fix these things. I mean, I think you can do it. Parks Harber, Private eye. Or maybe Harber. Places to stay in Parks Harbor I don’t know. You better be a real footballer who knows how to hit the seams off the ball. I hope this doesn’t sound strange, but here is a case where nepo children can be adopted. Bring on Parks Harbor a second time, I say! 20 years from now, I mean. The Parks Harbor freshman is hitting .316/.375/.573 with six home runs in 28 games. San Francisco got him back in the Camilo Doval trade, so keep an eye on this space, either on land or by sea.
You would be well in your right mind to lower the price Heroes of Luis Guanipa (20, A) for making his third trip to Low-A, but you’d also be wise to consider the facts that he remains 0.4 years younger than the average age at that level and that he’s played just 61 games at the level roughly evenly spaced between 2024 and 2025. This year, he is dominant, hitting at the plate while slashing just 10% .313/.356/.527 with eight home runs and 22 stolen bases in 25 attempts. He’s a working example of the idea that you don’t always have to coach a young player while he’s learning to hit. Guanipa came up a few years ago and could have been listed in most leagues. Now, he’s ranked in just four percent of the Fantrax league. It doesn’t cost much to pick up a flyer to see what the next month is like.
I was planning to write about Red Sox 3B Louis Andujar (18, A) while managing a complicated league, but Boston bumped him up to Low-A for now, making the message even more urgent. Not that I think you should rush out and make a roomdujar of this Andujar in all your leagues. I think you could elbow one at the end of the bench in the deep leagues. I have added him to the Razz 30 Royals (600+ MiLB eligible players registered) until further notice. He’s 0 for 7 so far in full-season ball, which doesn’t mean anything except that this guy is very young and wants to hunt down pitches he can pull and lift: a path usually reserved for the strongest hitters in the game. And on top of that (my 7-year-old daughter’s tag line : ), this kid signed for $20,000 and is not the kind of athlete who throws away your lunch when he smokes twice and runs three times. He will have to perform at every level to create consistency in the game of royalty.
