Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones has opened up about leaving the summer window

Premier League giants Liverpool are expected to have a very different squad for next season.
Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson have already announced that they will leave the club at the end of the season.
This Merseyside club will face major changes after a disappointing season which will see them finish without a trophy.
After winning the league last season and spending a lot of money in the transfer window, they were expected to continue their success under Arne Slot but nothing happened this season.
Now, another player is reportedly open to leaving the club after a successful spell at Anfield.
Liverpool midfielder Jones is ready to leave the club
According to talkSPORT, academy graduate Curtis Jones is considering his future at his youth club.
Frustrated with his current club situation and looking for regular minutes, the 25-year-old has attracted a lot of attention.
With Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, and Inter Milan all actively circling, this summer could mark the end of an era for the local boy.
To understand why Jones is looking for the exit door, you just have to look at the numbers.
Although he is a key, versatile figure for manager Arne Slot, and even filled in well at right-back in the 100th-minute win over Everton in the recent Merseyside derby, his first chances have been surprisingly few and far between.
Jones has managed to start 13 Premier League games this season, despite making over 40 appearances in all competitions.
The sad truth is that Liverpool’s engine room is now completely full. He currently finds himself locked behind big names like Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, and most recently Florian Wirtz.
Jones is about to enter the final 12 months of his current contract. If Liverpool don’t want to lose him for free in 2027, they should offer him a new contract or money immediately.
The Reds midfielder will not be short of options this summer
When he decides to pack his bags, he certainly won’t be short of high-end options.
Inter Milan are long-time favourites; the Serie A giants actually made a big push to sign him back in the January transfer window before Liverpool’s bosses pulled the plug on the deal late in the day.
Meanwhile, top-flight Aston Villa have him firmly on their summer wishlist as they look to strengthen their midfield.
Then there is Tottenham Hotspur, who are also reportedly very interested. However, Spurs’ pursuit comes with a huge stake, their interest entirely dependent on them surviving their current, daunting relegation battle and successfully defending their top-flight position.
