Liverpool have received a worrying report regarding Conor Bradley’s injury

Liverpool could have another major problem to deal with this summer, with new claims suggesting Conor Bradley’s injury could be more serious than first reported.
According to source X, information from within the IFA, via Liverpool, indicates that Bradley’s condition is much worse than has been made public.
That has not been officially confirmed by the team, but the concern is reasonable because details about his recovery are being handled carefully.
Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill recently said Bradley is “improving,” but also admitted that medical details are “confidential between the club and the player.”
Bradley has been out since January, when he suffered a serious knee injury during Liverpool’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal.
Liverpool confirmed at the time that he needed surgery and would begin his rehabilitation at the AXA Training Centre, but they did not set a specific time frame for his return.
🚨 EXCL: Information tonight from IFA, via LFC, that Conor Bradley’s injury is worse than reported. With extensive results if proven. Whoever comes as Liverpool’s new coach, RB is now very important.

Liverpool still do not know when Bradley will return
The injury involved bone and ligament damage in his left knee, although it was not believed to be an ACL tear.
That lack of a timeline is exactly why the latest rumor is getting attention.
If Bradley’s recovery is slower or more complicated than expected, it has serious consequences for Liverpool’s summer plans.
Whoever replaces Arne Slot as head coach will simply inherit the team during the transition.
Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Iraima Konaté are all leaving or expected to leave, while Liverpool are also eyeing a number of midfield positions.
But the defenders now seem to be one of the most important things.
Jeremie Frimpong was meant to help solve that problem, but his first season was hampered by injuries and inconsistent defensive performance.
Liverpool cannot go into another campaign relying on short-term costs, especially if the date of Bradley’s return is still unclear.
Reds may have to plant instead of eating back
Liverpool should treat it as a big warning. Bradley is a very good young player, and nobody should write him off, but the club can’t build their right-back line-up hopefully.
If he comes back soon, glorious. But if he needs a long time, Liverpool need to be protected.
The new coach will need to settle down, and a right-back is too important in today’s football to be lumped in with midfielders or emergency options.
Signing a right-back this summer is now a priority, not an option. It doesn’t have to be a big star signing, but Liverpool need someone who is reliable, athletic and ready to play quickly.
Bradley still has a big future at Anfield, but Liverpool need to be smart. Supporting his recovery and strengthening the team can both happen at the same time.
Arne Slot’s departure could lead to a shock U-turn from the Liverpool star leaving the club
