IShowSpeed football at the 2026 World Cup as a Cristiano Ronaldo fan takes on JasonTheWeen, Marlon, Sean Garnier, Zias, Brittany Isenhour and Freda Ayisi: ‘Shout out to FIFA’
IShowSpeed devotee Cristiano Ronaldo demonstrated his football skills in a video shot in New York’s Central Park with a group of other enthusiasts.
Broadcasters JasonTheWeen and Marlon, YouTuber Zias, former professional player Brittany Isenhour, Watford goalkeeper Freda Ayisi and freestyler Sean Garnier took part in the match during the 2026 World Cup, with two-time world champion Cafu and legendary referee Pierluigi Collina providing expertise.
“I really enjoyed this World Cup,” said ShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr, also known as Speed.
“It is more than the last World Cup [in Qatar in 2022]100% Just everyone’s feelings, everyone’s sympathy.
“Before the game I always sit by myself [getting to] the platform. I hung out with the fans. It’s just a fun atmosphere and a fun vibe.”
Marlon, Sean Garnier, Zias: 2026 World Cup ‘shocking’
Swedish internet celebrity Marlon called co-host country the US “a great place” to enter the final because of “different cultures and different people all in one place”.
“People saw that,” the 24-year-old recalled. “It shocked everyone, I see TikTok posts or Instagram posts from people who have never been on it.
“Now they watch all the games. It was really good.”
France’s former world champion Garnier echoed Marlon’s words about inclusivity, while Zias admitted he was immersed in football.
“I’m not an ardent football fan,” said the American. “This is probably the most I’ve paid attention to and I feel like I’ve been missing out. It’s a fun game and I’m having fun.”
Former United States youth international goalkeeper Isenhour described seeing the World Cup in his country as “very cool”.
“I feel like my dream as a professional soccer player was born when I watched women play in my hometown,” said the 28-year-old player.
So to see so many other kids see their idols playing in the US, it’s going to make many more dreams come true.”
Celebrity defender Cafu said the World Cup was “about bringing people together while being treated equally”.
“It makes you hug, raise a glass and argue with people you’ve never met before,” he suggested. “That is the power of the World Cup.
“That’s the kind of message the World Cup should promote – one of peace and unity.”

“A big shout out to Cafu,” he said hugging the Selecao player who has played the most games of all time. “He was our manager.
“We did our thing. Shout out to everyone in our team, on FIFA, on YouTube. It was great.
“Any country, any city, any city you go to – if it’s football there and you pass it to them, they will pass it to you.”
ShowSpeeds played in the final in New Jersey on July 19, where the reigning European champions defeated Argentina 1-0 after extra time.
