Levels
Siverson’s rise in the draft rankings this season has been surprising. After scoring one goal and two assists in 14 Western Hockey League (WHL) games last season, he silenced doubters with 24 goals and 29 assists for the Prince Albert Raiders in 2025-26.
Playing on a great team like Prince Albert, Sivertson used his power to his advantage. He brings size, at 6-foot-3, height above some of his competition to create space for himself and find open spaces. He can unleash a wicked shot from the circle into space or use his quick hands to get closer to the goalie for a better scoring opportunity.
Siverson also has an excellent passing game. On several occasions this season, he has made excellent passes in the saucer that hit the stick of his teammates to create great scoring opportunities and one-on-one opportunities between the shooter and the goalkeeper.
The problem with evaluating Sivertson’s game is that he plays in the WHL, where he can push players, and nobody can get the puck off him. Once he turns pro, he’ll be playing against older and stronger competition, and he may have trouble getting them off the puck or using his body to guard it. However, he will have a chance to improve on that when he plays for St. Cloud in the NCAA next season.
Some THW Draft profiles
Jonah Siverson β NHL Draft Projection
In a stacked wing division, Sivertson is overshadowed by other talented players like Ethan Belchetz and Adam Novotny. But teams have to like what they see from him, with his size and as close to an elite shot as you can get from a long player. Teams should have no problem selecting him in the second or third round of the 2026 NHL Draft.
Measurements
“Sivertson, committed to St. Cloud State, registered 63 points in 86 combined regular-season and playoff games with Prince Albert’s WHL finalists this year, averaging 15 minutes per game for them. He has good size. He has a good release (including catch-and-release where he has to connect the puck to the puck and get under the puck quickly and get the triangle out of it). He’ll make a second attempt. play Uses his body well to win space or protect pucks 2026.

NHL Power
In Prince Albert, Sivertson played with many top players, such as Braeden Cootes, and was a key member of that team. But making the jump to the NHL is no small feat. He can be a useful middle six winger with great upside but needs help on the defensive end. He can also be used as a net-front in the power play.
