Ludwig Aberg heads to the RBC Heritage with three top-5s on the season and a respectable T21 at the 2026 Masters. But after round 1, it’s clear that Aberg is headed for a better finish.
The 26-year-old fired an 8-under 63 on Day 1 at Harbor Town to take a one-shot lead into Friday’s second round.
But the leaderboard is packed near the top ahead of Round 2 of this week’s PGA Tour Signature event. Viktor Hovland and Harris English are back at seven under, and six players are T4 at six under. In that group are Rickie Fowler, Gary Woodland and Matt Fitzpatrick.
Jordan Spieth will enter Round 2 six shots back at two under.
