Benjamin Nygren lights up Celtic exit as record price is revealed

Celtic are now looking to sell one of their most valuable stars, who is ready to pack up and head to the Premier League this summer.
It would be a huge blow to Martin O’Neill, as he tries to defend his club’s title next season, and it wouldn’t be the first time the Bhoys have lost a star player.
Shades of Maeda: The £2m star wants to officially sign for Celtic this summer
One of the teams may sign for Celtic soon.
It’s a big summer for those in Scotland. The champions can make the most of new seasons at both Hearts and Old Firm rivals Rangers to push for glory again, but they need to get their transfer business right. If it’s like the last 12 months, they could be in trouble.
However, to achieve that, promising names such as Alvaro Rodriguez have emerged. Although the Elche striker may be able to solve Celtic’s attacking problems, they should consider whether he is worth the club’s record fee this summer.
There are also many potential exits to keep an eye on. Daizen Maeda is among those likely to leave in the coming months, not long after his heroics, and the same can be said for another attacking star.

The green Celtic star illuminates the flow of big money
As reported by SportsBoom, Benjamin Nygren has now given Tottenham Hotspur the green light to leave this summer.
He is ready to leave Celtic Park in favor of the Premier League and wants to stay in London after having ‘good’ talks with Tottenham over personal terms.
The Parkhead boss will seek a club record €30m (£26m) sale, which would make the striker more expensive than record signing Matt O’Riley.

Losing Nygren would be a bit of a blow this summer. The Swede enjoyed an excellent debut season in Scotland, scoring 21 goals and assisting nine in all competitions. Celtic couldn’t have asked for more.
One season later, those numbers would make a £26m deal look cheap, especially considering the midfielder is still only 24 years old. If Tottenham turn their interest into an official offer, Celtic will have a lot to think about this summer.
