Siverson’s rise in the draft rankings this season has been surprising. After scoring one goal and two assists in 14 Western Hockey League (WHL) games last season, he silenced doubters with 24 goals and 29 assists for the Prince Albert Raiders in 2025-26.

Playing on a great team like Prince Albert, Sivertson used his power to his advantage. He brings size, at 6-foot-3, height above some of his competition to create space for himself and find open spaces. He can unleash a wicked shot from the circle into space or use his quick hands to get closer to the goalie for a better scoring opportunity.

Siverson also has an excellent passing game. On several occasions this season, he has made excellent passes in the saucer that hit the stick of his teammates to create great scoring opportunities and one-on-one opportunities between the shooter and the goalkeeper.

The problem with evaluating Sivertson’s game is that he plays in the WHL, where he can push players, and nobody can get the puck off him. Once he turns pro, he’ll be playing against older and stronger competition, and he may have trouble getting them off the puck or using his body to guard it. However, he will have a chance to improve on that when he plays for St. Cloud in the NCAA next season.

But teams have to like what they see from him, with his size and as close to an elite shot as you can get from a long player.
