Where is Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua? Latest updates and news confirmed date, venue, tickets, full records as Eddie Hearn says boxing ‘fight of all time’ ‘signed, sealed, delivered’

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will finally meet in a “signed, sealed, delivered” fight, Eddie Hearn confirmed on April 27.
A fight between two of the best British fighters of modern times has been set up since 2011 and now it looks like it will be between the former heavyweight champions.
The fighter known as The Gypsy King made his first return in more than 15 months by beating 6ft 6in Russian Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in April, while Joshua announced later that month that he would return to the ring for the first time in seven months against Kristian Prenga.
Here’s what we know about Fury vs Joshua, including the fight date, venue and what the final match is all about.
Where is Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua?
The scrap will take place in the fourth quarter of 2026, depending on Joshua defeating 35-year-old Albania Prenga in July.
Joshua knocked out rookie Jake Paul – better known as a YouTuber – in Miami in December. Later that month, two members of the Londoner’s team died when Joshua’s driver crashed a car in Nigeria.
“It’s a comeback fight after a serious injury and a very painful time in his life,” said Hearn, who is Joshua’s promoter and head of Matchroom Boxing, speaking to iFL TV on April 24.
“This kind of fight is only if we signed to fight Tyson Fury, we need 100% physically and mentally when we fight Tyson Fury.”
Where will the Fury vs Joshua fight take place?
Hearn is “hopeful” that the competition will be held in London, with Wembley Stadium being the biggest possible setting.
Joshua set the number of people who will attend the fight in Britain when the hero known as AJ is knocked out by Daniel Dubois in the stadium in September 2024.
The fight could take place in Riyadh because it was organized by Turki Alalshikh, the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, who shared Hearn’s post confirming the signing of the contract and a previous photo of him and Joshua.
Fury fought two and two non-title fights in Saudi Arabia, where Fury had three fights in a row between 2023 and 2024, including defeating Oleksandr Usyk for both the WBC, WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring belts.
“The fight will be wherever his star wants,” Hearn accepted. “It may be in Timbuctoo. Me and AJ, Tyson Fury, we will have a contract where his talents sponsor this fight.
“It is up to him where it is, he also wants to make history, he will not put it in a random place.
“You want this to prove, to the fans, what it is, which is the biggest fight in the history of our country… I don’t pay the bills, so I can’t give you an answer. [on the venue].”
Hearn appeared to suggest that Dublin’s Croke Park was not an option but said there had been discussions about a possible fight.
Two of the last three fights in Saudi Arabia involving Joshua or Fury were held in December. Joshua also beat Andy Ruiz Jr there in December 2019.
Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury Tickets: Room for Promotion
Matchroom will organize the fight with the entertainment giant’s Riyadh Season of events, Hearn said.
Tickets for the fight between Joshua and Dubois went on sale three months before the event.
Anthony Joshua vs Kristian Prenga: Fury ‘fight of all time’
The most lucrative event in British boxing history hinges on Joshua, who has lost four of his nine fights against established boxers, avoiding an upset by Prenga, who has won all 20 by knockout and lost on points in his one career.
“The good news is that if we take a fight like this, we have signed to fight Tyson Fury,” said Hearn.
“All you have to do is bite your nails in July for 36 minutes and you don’t have the fight of the century, but the fight of all time.”
Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua record
Fury won his first 35 fights, defeating the legendary Wladimir Klitschko in his 25th to win the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring titles.
Now 37, he challenged Deontay Wilder for the WBC belt in 2018 and won and defended the title in American bouts in 2021 and 2022.
That loss to Usyk means Fury is currently without a title.

One of the most decorated names in British boxing history, Joshua won an Olympic super-heavyweight gold medal in 2012 and had won 28 of his previous 32 fights, leading to legitimate concerns that his split with Paul would prove a stalemate.
Joshua knocked out Klitschko at Wembley Stadium to start his first two fights as a unified world heavyweight champion, between 2017 and 2019 and 2019 and 2021.
He lost back-to-back meetings with Usyk in 2021 and 2022, then racked up four straight wins against opponents of questionable quality before Dubois was suspended.
