Teams confirmed for the 2026 World Cup and full lineups, TV channel, live streaming and stats

Haiti and Scotland have confirmed their starting squads as both teams begin their 2026 World Cup campaigns at Boston’s Gillette Stadium on Sunday.

The Grenadiers are making their second appearance in the finals, having lost three times in the 1974 edition, while the Tartan Army are returning for the first time since 1998, when they took one point from the group stage.

Victory over Nicaragua sealed Haiti’s place in the tournament, while Scotland knocked Denmark out of the play-offs.

This match is the second in Group C, which started when Brazil faced Morocco in New Jersey hours ago.

2026 World Cup: Haiti confirmed group against Scotland

Haiti were unchanged from their 2-1 loss to Peru in Florida on June 6.

Wolves midfielder Jean-Ricner and Lugano defender Hannes Delcroix both started for Haiti ahead of the third and final qualifying round, while Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor has since joined the squad.

2026 World Cup: Scotland to face Haiti

Scotland brought on John McGinn for their 4-0 win over Bolivia in Harrison eight days ago, with Ryan Christie moved to the bench.

Tyler Fletcher is part of the squad after being called up to replace Billy Gilmour when the midfielder injured his knee in the win over Curacao on May 30.

Craig Gordon returned from a shoulder injury in May and the 43-year-old played the first half against Curacao but did not start this time.

Middlesbrough striker Tommy Conway will miss the World Cup with an ankle problem but Southampton striker Ross Stewart has been part of the Scotland squad for the first time since 2022, having sustained a serious injury between his last internationals and January this year.
