Razzball Commenter Leagues, Week 6, 2026 Fantasy Baseball

We are very close to having Operational Master Standings. Rudy is still shaking out some bugs, but he’s hoping we’ll be ready to roll by the end of the week. Which means we’ll have a stand for my next review. For now, I’ll give you the stats of the season so far and some from week 6. Let’s get to it!

‘PERTY ‘PERTS

Each week we’ll take a peek at our residents to see who wants the best “professional” RCLer in the country. We’ll take notes, check postures and generally trap you. The article is also a link, so feel free to follow along as we go.

The Itch came back with a bang this week, getting all the points. Itch led the league in HR, RBI, SB, IP, and Wins this week en route to scoring 17.5 points and returning to first place. Knoche went the other way this week, dropping 10.5 innings thanks to a 6.80 ERA and 1.805 WHIP. Tough sledding out there.

RAZZSLAM STANDINGS UPDATE

Each week we’ll also look at the top ten standings in our other Razzball sponsored league, RazzSlam. This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers like you.

Pick up the phone! We have a change in the leader of Razzslam! James Sweeney jumped over TopherV proving that sometimes, every once in a while, the Razzslam format DOES change! Roto_wan drops to third this week and this week’s points leader, Matt Poole moves up to fourth. Andy and Mike took fifth and sixth place, respectively. Finally, friend of the show, Yancy Eaton sneaks into the top ten this week.

FOUL BALLS sold Taj Bradley in oldrock to Louis Varland

Nine trades this week, including a few big ones! Judge and Ohtani’s MHII is a big shakeup, I think I’m still team Ohtani there, but it’s close. And in RCL 19, I traded Bobby Witt for Gray’s Friday sell candidate, FTJ. Here’s hoping he fixes his shizz, I’m willing to take a chance. I’ve also managed to get five dingers out of Okamoto already, so that’s good. Tatis was moved twice this week as his managers must have enjoyed the first access to buy / sell and started trying to make a deal.

CHURCH LEADERS

The best of the best from the week that was.

R – 62 – Woo Wheeler (RCL 21) & Vin (RCL 15)

HR –20 – Starfish & Coffee (RCL 19)

RBIs – 64 – Dunphys Joint Venture (The Laura Holt Challenge)

SB – 12 – Pitch, please (RCl 23)

AVG – .338 – Razzkai (RCL 11)

K – 92 – There is a drive to deep left (RCL 29)

W – 7 – Nine Teams Tie

SV – 10 – WAR Bacon (RCL 20) & Not Lingeling (RCL 23)

ERA (Min. 40 IP) – 0.88 – Backdoor Splitters (ECFBL) (in 51 IP)

WHIP (Min. 40 IP) – 0.801 – ducat2 (RCl 32) (in 48.2 IP)

Razzkai set a new high for batting average this week, but every other category is down, it seems. A big week from Okamoto led me to the weekly staff lead. Okamoto was the target that started the negotiations for that big trade. I’ve been seeing people for the past week telling me to pass him, and I want to collect shares. I even took him out with one RCL. It’s still too early to bail on my pre-season take, and I’m glad I’m on course.

Some weekly stats from VinWins:

32 teams had an ERA of less than 2, and 21 teams had an ERA of more than 6.

3 teams hit under .200, and 53 hit over .300.

THE CHURCH GROUP

Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it last week.

Team: Texas Tornadoes

League: RCL 22

Stats: AVG: .312, R: 44, HR: 12, RBI: 56, SB: 4

IP: 56, ERA: 1.29, ERA: 1.000, K: 56, W: 5, SV: 8

Summary: This is the same week Itch had at Perts, in the form of more saves, fewer dingers, and a better ERA. Similar to the Itch, the Texas Tornado scored 15 points this week from fourth to second in the RCL 22. The Tornado offense was led by Jordan Walker (.393 with 2 homers, 2 steals, and 11 runs batted in) and Mickey Moniak (.368 with 3 home runs and 6 runs batted in). Shea Langeliers hit .500 with a couple of long balls, and CJ Abrams hit .429 with a homer and a stolen base. On the pitching side, Shota Imanaga (5 strikeouts) and Max Meyer (7 K) each threw 7 shutout innings and earned the win. Max Fried (11 strikeouts in his 2 starts), Zack Wheeler (8 punch outs), and Colin Rea all earned the win. Lucas Erceg, Jake Latz, and Jack Perkins combined for 8 scoreless innings with 6 saves. Riley O’Brien didn’t have the usual ratings, but still contributed 2 saves. Great job, Tornados!
