Razzball Commenter Leagues, Week 3, 2026 Fantasy Baseball

We’re in week four, and before things get out of hand, I wanted to have a little chat about how to navigate this difficult baseball season. No, this isn’t a PSA reminding you to add a glass of water to your whiskey (but do that again). This is about moving your allotted innings. Some simple math tells us that there are 26 weeks in the season, and we need to get to 1400 IP. That means you should be looking at about 54 innings pitched per week to stay on track. In other words, you should be sitting around 120-160 IP right now.
FanTrax gives you a snapshot of your current pace when you click the Min/Max button on your team screen. I’m not sure I trust their stats, though. I followed their departure earlier, and with about a month and a half to go I had to get my ass out of almost every league to catch up. I’m not sure where the split was, but I prefer my own tracking. With any luck, you learn this early enough in the season that you won’t fall into the same trap.
‘PERTY ‘PERTS
Each week we’ll take a peek at our residents to see who wants the best “professional” RCLer in the country. We’ll take notes, check postures and generally trap you. The article is also a link, so feel free to follow along as we go.
Itch excelled this week, averaging 7.5 while leading the league in Runs, HRs, and WHIP. Mike C was the big scorer this week, adding 22 points to their total and moving into seventh place. Cram It went the other way this week, dropping 17 points to sixth place. Silly season.
RAZZSLAM STANDINGS UPDATE
Each week we’ll also look at the top ten standings in our other Razzball sponsored league, RazzSlam. This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers like you.

TopherV had the most RazzSlam points this week with 726. That was enough to move them from 14th place to first. J Schmoey, down in 34th place, had a big jump this week, up 159 places, thanks to the 678 points they earned. Mike C and Derek (Line Builder) are still holding things down for the Razzball team in the top ten overall. Did I mention they are in the same league? There are two teams in the top ten in my league (1190) and I am currently sitting in seventeenth place. It seems like feast or famine in these leagues.

There are only five teams left with more than 100 points, and three of them took the lead last week. Good job!

All trades that have gone down in the past week. Public ridicule is not only allowed, but encouraged.

SquatCobblers2 traded Tarik Skubal and Jonathan Aranda to the TripleBs for Jackson Merrill and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. |
Just one deal this week, but it’s a big one! Sign in, which side do you like? I think I want a side of Vlad, myself.

The best of the week that was.

SB – 20 – murderbydeath (RCL 7)
AVG – .320 – TheThreeReynolds (RCL 3)
K – 95 – Devin Williams is a pussy (RCL 35)
W – 8 – 6 Teams Tie

WHIP (Min. 40 IP) – 0.715 – danaaaaa (RCL 20) (in 64.1 IP)
There were new weekly records in Runs, HRs, SBs (thanks), AVG, Ks, and tying the Saves mark. At first we should get many new records every week. I have to imagine that there is one unhappy Yankees fan in RCL 35 with that team name.
THE CHURCH GROUP
Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it last week.

Team: Bucks at 6
League: RCL 10
Stats: AVG: .299, R: 50, HR: 19, RBI: 51, SB: 19
IP: 59.67, ERA: 3.32, ERA: 1.223, K: 51, W: 3, SV: 4
Summary: Vin said the numbers led to an apparent TOW tie, but the Bucks had a good slam and legs for a 19/19 rating, so that gets the nod. James Wood (.545/8 R/3 HR/8 RBI/2 SB) and Jordan Walker (.360/6 R/5HR/6 RBI) rounded out the top hitting team of the week. Chandler Simpson hit .455 and stole five bases, and Oneil Cruz added six steals while hitting .375. Shohei Ohtani hit three home runs, but was left in the leadoff spot by his impressive performance. Ryan Weathers pitched his best game on the mound, allowing one run in eight innings while striking out seven, but was unable to get the win. Nathan Eovaldi, Grant Holmes, and Michael King had good outings, and the Bucks’ three wins in 6 were secured. Kenley Jansen pitched a perfect inning with one save, and Paul Sewald had two saves in the second and third shutout innings. Dennis Santana added one out of two chances. A big week earned the Bucks 6 points and 1 this week to move them into second place in the RCL 10. The Bucks are trying to fire Mike C, who has started to get hot on several teams. I wish you luck!
