France have been very good for most of the game, and Dembele in particular, with Les Bleus continuing to look like big favorites at this World Cup, and Dembele could get his second Ballon d’Or in a row.

Here’s a look at our France player ratings from tonight’s big win over Norway…

Ratings of French players

Mike Maignan – 9/10 – He pulled out the defense on several occasions, including saving a penalty in the second half.

Jules Kounde – 6/10 – Not the most convincing performance from Jules Kounde or most of France’s defense as this highly mobile Norwegian side had their moments throughout the game.

Maxence Lacroix – 6/10 – Linked as Chelsea’s top transfer target by L’Equipe and others, Maxence Lacroix had a solid but underwhelming performance for France on Friday night.

Dayot Upamecano – 7/10 – One of France’s strongest defenders on the night, it was a strong and assured display from Bayern Munich’s Dayot Upamecano.

Theo Hernandez – 6/10 – Usually an attacking threat from left back, we saw a subdued performance from Theo Hernandez this evening.

Aurelien Tchouameni – 8/10 – He owns the midfielder, which shows why Rio Ferdinand urged his old club Manchester United to sign him from Real Madrid this summer.

Manu Kone – 7/10 – He’s not a guaranteed starter for France, but Manu Kone didn’t hurt himself by performing well tonight, despite facing an underpowered Norway side.

Desire Doue – 8/10 – One of the many exciting talents in the Les Bleus attack, Desire Doue was dangerous all game and added his side’s fourth with a well-taken header.

Ousmane Dembele – 10/10 – Stop working. What a player. Ousmane Dembele scored a hat-trick in 32 minutes, and all three goals were of the highest quality. If he continues like this, he will definitely be leading France to the title.

Michael Olise – 6/10 – A quiet underwhelming performance from Michael Olise, but admittedly not the most important either.

Kylian Mbappe – 9/10 – No goals for Kylian Mbappe on this occasion, but two assists and an excellent performance leading to France.
