According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Greenwood is set to move to Fenerbahce in a deal worth €45 million (£38.9 million).
The Turkish giants have accelerated talks with Marseille and are now leading the race for the former Manchester United striker, despite interest from several European clubs, including Tottenham and Roma.
Jacobs reports that personal terms have already been agreed, with Greenwood set to sign a lucrative four-year contract in Istanbul.
How much money will Manchester United receive from the transfer of Mason Greenwood?
If the transfer goes through as expected, Manchester United stand to receive around 5 million euros (£4.3 million).
When United sold Greenwood to Marseille in 2025 for £26.5 million, they negotiated a sell-on clause worth around 50% of any profit from future sales.
Because Fenerbahce’s proposed offer of 45 million euros significantly exceeds Marseille’s original purchase price, United are entitled to a large portion of the proceeds generated by the transfer.
