Tottenham have given Guirassy a boost as the agent rejected a Fenerbahce deal
Tottenham Hotspur have received a major boost in the race for the star striker after the player’s agent strongly denied reports of a previous deal with Fenerbahce, throwing fresh uncertainty over his future and reopening the door to Europe’s top clubs.
Speculation has suggested that Borussia Dortmund’s ‘untouchable’ striker, Serhou Guirassy, is set to shut down the Turkish giants. However, those claims have now been outright dismissed, with no agreement currently in place.

Serhou Guirassy’s agent denies a deal with Fenerbahce to promote Spurs
Speaking exclusively to Sky Sports reporter Patrick Berger, Karamba Guirassy, the brother and agent of the 30-year-old Guinean player, completely dismissed reports of a move to Istanbul.
“To be clear: no agreement of any kind has been reached,” he said. “Serhou is currently evaluating his options for next season. Any claim of a verbal agreement is untrue.”
Although a move away from Borussia Dortmund remains a possibility this summer, no final decision has been made regarding his future destination.
This clarification breathes new life into Tottenham’s pursuit, as Roberto De Zerbi looks to add an elite, physical presence to his attacking front line.

Top Premier League clubs have been linked with him in the past few months
Spurs are far from the only English club taking a close look at the situation. Over the past few months, many top teams in the Premier League have registered an interest in the powerful striker.
Earlier it was reported that Chelsea have also established contact with him to sign him. Meanwhile, Arsenal and Man United have been linked with him in the past.
Beyond England’s borders, European heavyweights AC Milan and Atlético Madrid also have Guirassy on their shortlist.
The race for his signature is wide open, and the lack of a verbal agreement with Fenerbahçe keeps all of these top players in the running.
Guirassy’s high numbers continue to attract top clubs
It is not surprising that the top European clubs are clamoring for the player. Guirassy has found himself one of the finalists in the clinic.
After scoring 38 goals in his first season in Germany, he backed it up with another impressive campaign, netting 22 goals in all competitions, including 17 in the Bundesliga alone.
