Palace are stepping up their search for a new manager this summer, with the job already underway after finding a replacement for Glasner ahead of what could be a historic season for the south London club.
Glasner will leave Selhurst Park when his contract expires at the end of the season, leaving as the most successful manager in the club’s history having won the FA Cup in his first full season and led them to victory in the Community Shield in August.
The Austrian also guided Palace to the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League, with a potential final as the club look to end a memorable chapter on a high note.
In the Premier League, Palace is fighting for a late push towards the qualification places in Europe, sitting on six points from the top six but with a game left over their rivals.

Frank Lampard could be tempted to join Crystal Palace
One of them, according to TT and Graeme Bailey, is Frank Lampard, who has emerged as one of the most prominent players in the Palace list.
The 47-year-old recently completed a remarkable turnaround at Coventry City, taking them from 17th in the Championship to title winners and promotion to the Premier League in the space of 16 months, amassing 89 points and winning the EFL’s Manager of the Season award.
The problem is that Coventry have every intention of keeping him.
The Sky Blues are making their first appearance in the top flight in 25 years and Lampard is the architect of that journey. The team’s position is clear — he is unavailable.
What is less clear is whether Lampard himself sees his long-term future at the CBS Arena.
