Liverpool could hire “best young coach in Europe”
Let’s talk about Liverpool.
To anyone who is on the internet regularly, it is clear that opposition is rife in Liverpool circles, with many fans calling for Arne Slot to be relieved of his duties in the dugout.
The ball is changing. Only one year ago, Slot sang in dulcet Dutch tones to Anfield, and Anfield sang back. It was a great opportunity for Jurgen Klopp, whose chairs were still warm but he was replaced by a wise and cool-headed coach, who won the Premier League in his first year.

Now, Slot is a long way from any end-of-season music, his Liverpool side having suffered throughout the campaign. Although Slot felt the noise as the Reds stumbled against Chelsea and were held to draw.
Maybe Anfield sang, but it was a different kind of song. Boos sang the pitch on several occasions, most notably when Rio Ngumoha, that source of rare excitement, was caught after 67 minutes. And then again, more now, the full-time whistle. Liverpool are tired, and something has to change.
Liverpool are still holding on to Arne Slot
Chelsea’s growing interest in Xabi Alonso will tell you that FSG are still holding on to the Slot.
Journalists we know have been beating the drum for a few months, and if the Reds were willing to sign the former Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid manager, who has spent most of his career at Anfield, he probably wouldn’t be curious about the Stamford Bridge vacancy.
Of course, Alonso will jump at the chance to lead Liverpool forward. The Paper newspaper revealed that he is taking part in Chelsea as he is still waiting for the opportunity to take over at Anfield.
Now, the ball is really in FSG’s court as they consider Slot’s future.
If the powers that be decide to twist, they can move Alonso, or turn to German manager Julian Nagelsmann, previous reports indicate that Liverpool have held talks with the coach’s representatives, and that he is willing to move to Merseyside.
The 38-year-old is in charge of the German national team, and is unlikely to relinquish control of his country before the World Cup. However, if FSG are smart – and they often are – then they may link up with the Reds after the international tournament, if Slot is fired.
Why Nagelsmann would be better than Liverpool’s Alonso
Described as “the best young coach in Europe” by journalist Josh Bunting, Nagelsmann is a perfectionist and a team player. gegenpressing ideas that have entered German football, Jurgen Klopp contributed to that.
He’s no Klopp, though, instead, he’s an innovative manager who likes to combine positioning with flowing football, managing to catch things going forward quickly.
If Nagelsmann is truly free, he could prove not only a constructive upgrade on Slot, but a better fit than Alonso, his three-man defense and tilt towards the ball making him more of a mirror of Slot’s style than his Dutch predecessor at Anfield.
In the end, Liverpool have made too many mistakes this season, and someone like Nagelsmann, a sharp technician who has shown himself to be able to adapt to situations in his country, ending with Bayern Munich before rising to the international stage, could finally turn things around.

Alonso could be that man, but he has no experience, even though he is older than the German, and he was cheated by deception in his last job in Madrid – although Los Blancos are confused, and that is not Alonso’s fault.
Nagelsmann has “world class“The ability to coach, as journalist Rory Smith has noted, and despite his young age, his praise and reputation at the top of the managerial game has earned him respect.
Nagelsmann has already proven himself to be an excellent coach, and his style of play better suits the football that Liverpool fans want to see from their team.
