Leeds are studying for a position in the Zion Suzuki exchange race after the World Cup was ruled out

After securing Premier League survival for the first time, Leeds United are looking to replace their security in the top flight and have secured a number of key replacements for Daniel Farke.
Meanwhile, Harry Wilson is already on his way. The Welshman will arrive as a free agent in one of the summer talks, when the Whites begin their transfer business in style.
It could be a sign of things to come, too. After agreeing terms with Wilson, Leeds are eyeing Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki.

Honesty |
It only summed up the Leeds goalkeeper’s problems when Karl Darlow was forced to step down last season. Something has to change and the arrival of a young goalkeeper who can take over the role for years to come makes perfect sense. |

As for the fee, Parma are not set to accept a cut price and Leeds are unwilling to give up the chase, dismissing reports they could pay more than €30m (£26m) for the Japan international this summer. |

The stopper, still only 23 years old, is one of the best young goalkeepers. Although Japan came out early against Brazil, he impressed and came away with an excellent save percentage of 70% – more than Lucas Perri last season. |

Impact |
It’s time for Leeds to tackle their goalkeeping woes and while Suzuki won’t come cheap, he will finally put an end to Farke’s biggest problem at Elland Road. |
There has been plenty of interest in Suzuki this summer, but recent reports have given Leeds a major boost in their pursuit of the 23-year-old.
Leeds are ready to swoop in to sign Suzuki
It looks like those at Elland Road mean business this summer. According to Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari, Leeds are ready to go all out to sign Suzuki and are considering a bid in excess of €30m (£26m) for his signature.
The Whites are desperate to win the race for the Japanese player and he is now leading the race to secure his arrival.
Although clubs such as Aston Villa are also confirmed to be interested, this now looks like a race to lose for Leeds, having already held talks with Parma over a move.
Suzuki will finally put an end to the Leeds goalkeeper’s woes
It’s Déjà vu for Leeds, who were in this situation one year ago. It was then that they believed Perri would be the answer to their problems, only for Darlow to continue his work at the end of the campaign, and let’s not even get started on Illan Meslier.
Now, Suzuki looks set to be next in line for an opportunity.
This time may vary, however. The Japan international has already played on the biggest stage this summer and did so after an impressive domestic campaign with Parma. All signs point to a rising star, destined to be even better.
