Leeds are now plotting a shock summer move for £25m West Ham star Farke

Leeds United are now eyeing a surprise move for the relegated “relegated” player, as West Ham United could be forced to cash out this summer.

Jermaine Beckford tells Leeds to sign new player

Leeds favorite Jermaine Beckford has now revealed two positions where Daniel Farke needs to strengthen, with the former striker suggesting the manager must strive to improve his attacking tactics.

Beckford says: “I think we need a tactical player, someone who plays the 10 role. Someone who can play between the lines and create chances for the strikers, like Harry Wilson or a Harvey Elliott type.

“And we need another number nine to really push Dom and Lukas to the next level. But look, there’s an argument that we can strengthen every position, that’s the way the Premier League is. You want the best for your club, and the only way to get the best for your team is to improve all the time.”

Wilson will be joining Farke’s squad, with the Fulham winger’s contract set to expire this summer, and the door could also be opened to sign Elliott, as Liverpool are keen to approve the sale.

However, another option has now entered the picture, with the Whites looking to raid West Ham, following their relegation from the Premier League.

Leeds are planning a surprise move for a “frightening” star.

According to a report from Sports Boom, Leeds are now plotting a shock move for West Ham star Crysencio Summerville, which could be on the way this summer, as his current employers may need to offload some key players due to their dire financial situation.

Summerville was sold to West Ham for £25m following the 2023-24 campaign, after Farke’s side were beaten by Southampton in the play-off final, and is “unlikely” to be committed to playing in the second tier next season.

‘Many top figures’ at Elland Road are keen to re-sign the Dutchman, with Farke known to be a big fan, saying: “Crysencio is a football player, it’s like it’s a joy to see him. That’s why we all enter the field because when you see a boy touch the ball like him, it’s exciting.”

During his time in the Championship, the Rotterdam-born player was hailed by scout Jacek Kulig as “scary”, and despite West Ham’s relegation from the Premier League, he put in some impressive performances.

Crysencio Summerville’s Premier League season

  • 31 appearances

  • 5 goals

  • 4 helps

  • 1.9 successful dribbles per 90

  • 1 penalty won

  • 1 Player of the Match Award

Summerville, who was recently selected in the Netherlands’ World Cup squad, has already shown that he is worthy of a return to the Premier League, but this could be controversial, given that he was dropped after losing the final.
