How to watch the Zurich Classic on Friday
Matt Fitzpatrick and his brother Alex are participating in this week’s Zurich Classic for the second year in a row. The good news after Thursday’s opening round is that it doesn’t look like the Fitzpatricks will miss out on the ax like they did last year. The downside is that they have a lot of work to do in Friday’s second round to get into contention.
Fitzpatricks compiled an eight-under 64 in the four-ball format in Round 1. That puts them six shots behind early leaders Alex Smalley and Hayden Springer.
Brooks Koepka and Shane Lowry, paired with the Fitzpatricks to start this week’s PGA Tour team event, went six under on Day 1.
In the second round, all players will compete in a foursomes (one shot) format, which could cause a lot of movement on the leaderboard.
You can watch the second round of the Zurich Classic on TV with the Golf Channel beginning Friday at 3 pm ET. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide exclusive coverage beginning at 8:45 a.m. ET on Friday, along with featured team and hole coverage throughout the day.
