2026 Masters Thursday tee times: Groups Round 1

The 2026 Masters will begin on Thursday, April 9, with the first round at Augusta National Golf Club. You can find the full Masters tee times for the opening round at the bottom of this post.

No matter how he plays or how his body feels, Rory McIlroy will be the center of attention when the 2026 Masters starts on Thursday.

After several near misses and heartbreak, McIlroy finally captured his first title and green jacket last year at Augusta National. With it, he completed a career Grand Slam and placed his place in the history of the tournament.

The dramatic victory was the highlight of last season, but so far in the 2026 season, McIlroy hasn’t looked as sharp. While finishing second at the Genesis Invitational, he finished T46 at the Players Championship and withdrew from the Arnold Palmer Invitational due to back discomfort.

McIlroy crashed out of the Masters as a result, but he’s still the World No. 2, and he’s a threat whenever he does it at Augusta National.

McIlroy will enter Thursday’s opening round at 10:31 a.m. ET along with Cameron Young and rookie Mason Howell.

You can watch Thursday’s first round of the 2026 Masters on TV on ESPN, with coverage from 3-7:30 pm ET. Amazon Prime Video and Masters.com will provide early coverage from 1-3 pm ET. Or you can watch other streaming coverage throughout the day via Masters.com, the Masters app, the ESPN App, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+ and DirecTV including exclusive early action, featured team coverage and much more.
