Everton officials go out and have a look at signing Barry with 26 goals.

Everton officials have now gone for a personal assessment of Feyenoord striker Ayase Ueda, who would soon be promoted to Thierno Barry.

Everton made a personal check on Ueda

In the space of two weeks, Everton have seen their European hopes dashed in the most frustrating way – conceding two last-minute goals against Liverpool and then West Ham United last weekend.

Everton are in the race to sign the £126k-a-week star Chelsea are now willing to sell.

The Toffees are keen to sign an “exciting” player.

David Moyes’ team remains low as it is in 11th place, although it is still two points behind Bournemouth in the Europa Conference League. A lot can still happen with four games to go, but Everton will be the first to think about the fortnight I forgot.

There is no doubt that qualifying for Europe will increase their transfer window in the coming months. It will push the Friedkin Group project into new territory and maybe even get people like Troy Parrott or Ueda to join.

According to TeamTalk, Everton officials flew out to personally check on Ueda ahead of the summer transfer window. The Japanese international enjoyed a superb season, scoring 26 goals in all competitions, and would replace Barry and Beto on Merseyside.

Of course, the Toffees are not the only side interested in Feyenoord’s record signing, however. That is why European football should be a priority if they want to end their first line once and for all.

Ueda has been incredibly clinical all season. Meanwhile, Barry has taken fewer shots and scored 21 fewer goals than Everton’s target. It’s just a move that the Toffees have to go all out to secure.

Dewsbury-Hall urges Everton to “stand up and be counted”

Fresh off a disappointing defeat against West Ham, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made his test debut on Monday night. It allowed the midfielder to look back on a frustrated afternoon and urged his teammates to “stand up and be counted” in the final four games of the season.

“Here you have to stand up and count on the run. It’s the most important time in this season when if you do the right thing, you can memorize it.

“The sad thing is that we are not doing that at the moment, so we have to look at ourselves and change quickly because we have four big games left. Ours is that if we get the right results and the right mindset, we will put ourselves in a good position.”

Next, Everton will play against Manchester City. To say it’s not easy would be a huge understatement, but Moyes’s team will want to express their opinion on the title race and look again at the European qualifiers.
