The Villans are the club most likely to make a move, but Spurs are one of several clubs lurking as the race for his signature rages.
Indeed, the Tricksters would have no choice but to cash in this summer if Villa, Spurs or, for that matter, any other club were to swoop in for the midfielder in the coming months.
