Arsenal should try Nwaneri for Rogers transfer

Arsenal are struggling in attack at the moment, even if they are going to finish most of the games, and that is something Mikel Arteta will be looking to fix this summer.
It has become clear in recent months that the Gunners will no longer be able to rely on Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka in the attacking midfield, but that is not their only problem.

There seems to be growing concern over Ethan Nwaneri during his loan spell at Marseille, with the 19-year-old’s poor attitude seemingly costing him huge Ligue 1 minutes.
This could, however, work in Arsenal’s favor as they will need a player like him to use in any bid for Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.
Of course, at the moment most of the fans of this team will be looking forward to the next game and looking at how they can buy tickets for Manchester City and Arsenal to be able to prove what they hope will be a game that will bring them closer to the top for the first time in 22 years.
However, Andrea Berta may still have an eye on moves in and out of the summer for the team to continue to improve.
Could Arsenal include Ethan Nwaneri in a deal to transfer Morgan Rogers?
Arsenal are among Rogers’ biggest suitors ahead of this summer, although the England international is expected to cost at least £80m, with some reports even suggesting his price tag could be as high as £100m.
Rogers has been a joy to watch while at Villa Park, winning Young Player of the Year last term and scoring ten goals and providing eight assists so far this campaign, even if his recent form has been a little underwhelming.
It’s easy to imagine a talent like Rogers thriving at Arsenal and giving Arteta’s side the spark they’ve been missing from their other big names.
Odegaard and Saka have provided that, but there are certainly serious questions to be asked about the pair now after ongoing injury problems, and a reduced impact when they have been on the pitch.
Arsenal probably won’t be able to easily pay £80m for Rogers, but if they could include someone like Nwaneri as part of the package, that would be good business to benefit both clubs.
Ethan Nwaneri’s next move could be permanent
Nwaneri shone for Arsenal last season but has yet to start, and now it would be great if the England Under-21 international tries to revive his career elsewhere.
It hasn’t happened for him under Arteta, who surprisingly let him go out on loan this winter, and it seems Marseille aren’t entirely convinced by him either.

Villa will be tempted, however, by this promising youngster, who could be a suitable replacement for Rogers in that attacking midfield role.
AVFC will also say goodbye to the likes of Harvey Elliott and Jadon Sancho this summer after disappointing loan spells, so attacking players like these should be high on Unai Emery’s list for next season.
