Andrey Santos He left rivals Manchester United in a deal worth around £50m, a surprising exit considering he made 43 appearances for the Blues last season.

Marc Cucurellaa key part of Spain’s World Cup-winning team, he joined Real Madrid for the same fee after making more than 150 appearances in west London.

Tyrique George He has left again, joining Everton after a good loan spell under David Moyes last season, when Alejandro Garnacho loan to Aston Villa, also with a view to making the deal permanent.
