Rangers have seen a £4.3m bid accepted to sign the “crazy” star.

Glasgow Rangers made their first transfer signing of the summer at the end of last month when they confirmed the arrival of Lawrence Shankland on a permanent deal.
The Scot joined Hearts after leading them to second place in the Scottish Premiership with 16 goals in the 2025/26 campaign, failing to win the title on the final day.
He will now be hoping to fit in better at Ibrox by using his goalscoring quality and experience at this level to lead Danny Rohl’s side to the title next season.
Shankland may not be the only Premiership star to move to Glasgow this summer, however, with the Gers reportedly leading the race to sign Dundee defender Luke Graham.
The player who plays on the left back is one of the players in the headlines in this club as they are looking for a replacement for Nasser Djiga after his loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers ended.
Rangers have been tipped to pay £4.3m to sign the defender
Graham wants to play in the Premier League, according to his manager, and it remains to be seen whether the Gers can secure a deal for him in the coming weeks.
While the Light Blues are still eyeing a move for the Scotland U21 international, the Scottish giants are also looking for another defender who could be a better signing than Graham.
According to reporter Ben Jacobs, Glasgow Rangers are one of the clubs interested in signing ZTE defender Akpe Victory in the summer transfer window.
The journalist claims that the Hungarian side are willing to accept offers of around £4.3m for the 19-year-old talent, meaning the Gers will have to shell out a decent transfer fee to see a bid accepted for him.
Jacobs added that Swiss giants Basel have seen two offers for ZTE rejected, while Rangers and Benfica are also in the running for the Nigerian defender.
The reporter also points out that teams in Spain, France, Germany and Italy have made approaches regarding a possible deal for the youngster, and the Light Blues may have to move quickly to avoid losing the race for his signature.
Why Akpe Victory would be a better Rangers signing than Luke Graham
Graham is a defender in the Premiership who has shown that he can manage this division well, which is why he is in high demand and may sign for Rangers.
However, it is difficult to predict whether he will be fit to play in the dominant team because Rangers defenders are expected to be comfortable and almost flawless in handling the ball, while he completed 80% of his passes this season in Dundee.
Graham lost the ball 11.5 times per game on average in the Premiership, more than any Gers full-back, and could be uncomfortable on the ball on the heavy side.

Victory’s performance for ZTE in the 2025/26 Fizz Liga campaign, however, suggests he will fit right into Rohl’s side as a full-back who can start attacking his team.
In fact, he had the highest error rate of any Rangers defender, at 93%, which speaks to his ability to freely pass through opposition press to find his teammates with cheap passes.
Victory has also been hit (0.4) less per game than Graham (0.5) at the league level this season, suggesting that forwards have found it difficult to find him in one-on-one situations.
The star, who was described as “insanely powerful” by Bence Bocsak, also won 58% of his ground tackles and 64% of his aerials in the Fizz Liga, showing that he can be an outstanding defender without being a top-flight footballer.
Therefore, the £4.3m youngster would be a better signing than Graham because he has similar strengths without possession, while being better with the ball at his feet, which is perfect for what the Gers need as a title-chasing team.
