Everton are planning to make a move to sign the £60m England man

Everton won’t be playing in Europe next season, but have come a long way under David Moyes – again.
In the Scottish manager’s first time in charge, Everton had a chance to shine, breaking away from a half-table finish under Walter Smith and challenging for Europe during the decade.
Now, Moyes is back, moving Everton away from the fodder and into mid-table, with one game remaining in the Premier League season.

Whether Everton beat relegation-threatened Tottenham Hotspur on the final day of the season remains to be seen, but progress is evident, even if last weekend’s defeat to Sunderland at Hill Dickinson served as a dramatic check.
However, Everton need to pump more vim and energy into their attack
Everton make attacking their priority
First-class attacking outlets can come in many different shapes and sizes, with Marouane Fellaini a favorite of Moyes during his managerial career.
What is the relevance of this? However, the Belgian great flourished under Moyes’ wing at Goodison Park before joining him at Old Trafford in 2013, signing for Manchester United in a £27m deal.
Moyes likes to work with those in the know, and now, he seems ready to repeat the trick.
Signing a striker is a priority for the Merseysiders this summer, and Football Insider reports that a move is being planned to sign West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen this summer, if the Hammers are relegated on Sunday.
Bowen is one of the most successful players in the Premier League, and while the Irons hope to bank £60m for his signing this summer, the Friedkin Group will generate a low, if any, fee.
Why Bowen could be Everton’s next Fellaini
Moyes knows Bowen and how he works like the back of his hand – and vice versa.
You’d think Bowen would be interested in signing for the Toffees this summer, reuniting with his old mentor and helping the outfit climb the table.

He scored the winning goal in the Conference League final, and has captained West Ham in the Premier League and the Premier League over the past few years. His impact and style down the right saw even pundit Tony Cascarino describe him as one “Salah club“.
While the England international is heading for relegation – unless Everton can throw a tantrum on Sunday – he has maintained impressive form this season, scoring eight goals and providing ten assists while creating 14 big chances. It should be clear that the Irons will be in dire straits without their captain leading the way.
He is not the same as the elite Fellaini, but both are important to the way Moyes’ plans work. By signing him, he will provide this club with the missing link, taking their attacking efforts to the next level.
It will see Iliman Ndiaye play on the left continuously, and it will reduce the goalscoring burden of the talented but raw Thierno Barry.
Fellaini, 38 and retired, once said he cried when Moyes was sacked by Man United, having developed a deep bond with the manager at both tactical and personal levels.
The same goes for Bowen, who has scored such feats under his wing. Surely he would like to visit that playground again?
Bowen has established himself as a modern day legend at West Ham, but he is still at the peak of his career and should not go down with his ship.
Prolific has done his best, and Moyes can now give him a lifeline, so make him the next version of Fellaini.
