Fantasy Baseball Streamers for Week 4

I’m really happy with how last week’s streamers turned out. It was good to see some predictable results after a strange opening two weeks, and I feel like I’m finally back on track. What’s impressive about broadcasters at this point in the season is understanding how to manage your show. While broadcasters are critical to success, it’s also important not to overreact and let down someone who might regret it. That’s a tough balance to strike, but it’s something you should all consider before diving into these streamers. With that in mind, let’s take a look at this week’s best matchups and dive into this week’s streamers!

Throwing Streamers
Grant Holmes, ATL (vs. MIA)
I wasn’t alive in the ’70s and ’80s, but man, I’d be happy if every baseball player looked like this guy. Holmes has been pitching like one of those tough aces ever since, compiling a 2.55 ERA and 1.08 WHIP through three starts. He also averaged a 3.25 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 10.9 K/9 between April and July 6 of last season. His last three games haven’t gone well, but it’s clear that Holmes is dealing with an injury. Health has Holmes back on track, and we love this home matchup with Miami. While the Marlins have been a sneaky good offense this season, they don’t have the talent to worry us. Holmes threw 5.2 scoreless innings against them in their one game last season, and will likely enter this matchup as a -150 or so favorite.

Spencer Arrighetti, HOU (vs. COL)
Arrighetti has been playing as one of our wide receivers when given the opportunity, and it looks like he will start this week as Houston transitions to a six-man rotation. The right-hander feels like an easy choice to fill that last slot because he has a 1.26 ERA and 0.77 WHIP while striking out 20 batters in 14.1 innings at Triple-A this season. That’s the form we’ve seen from this guy at times in 2024, posting a 3.08 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and a 10.8 K/9 rate in his last 14 starts. An injury-riddled 2025 season has dream managers forgetting just how talented Arrighetti can be, but this is a soft spot for him. The Rockies have been the worst road offense in baseball for a few years now, and will likely have Arrighetti going into this matchup as a -200 favorite!

Mitch Keller, PIT (vs. WAS)
Keller has been one of our hosts many times since I started this piece, but he’s getting closer to a place worth following. The right-hander made three quality starts this season en route to a 1.00 ERA and 0.94 WHIP. We don’t expect him to maintain those ridiculous averages, but we’re talking veterans with a 4.07 ERA and 1.29 WHIP starting in 2022. That’s nothing to get excited about, but it does show that Keller could be a viable option as one of our hosts in a premiership matchup. That’s all we have here because Washington was 24th in OBP and 25th in OPS last season. We don’t mind that Keller has the better home separation in a pitcher-friendly park, posting a 3.58 ERA and 1.25 WHIP there over the past three years.

Foster Griffin, WAS (at PIT)
This adventurer finally gets a legal chance at the age of 30. We should all be lucky, but Griffin has adapted to this new role. Griffin was assigned to the Dodgers and Phillies in his first two starts, but he held those formidable lineups to a 2.70 ERA while posting a 9.9 K/9 average. This is an amazing start against two of the best players in baseball, so we have to believe that he will continue against a team like the Pirates. Pittsburgh finished dead last in scoring, OPS and xwOBA last season, despite playing better this year. This is a risky option for one of your pitchers, but his 1.68 ERA in Japan last year shows he’s got something special.
Average Stream: $-8.7
Joey Cantillo, CLE (at STL, vs. BAL)
Rangers always seem to stumble upon these gems, and Cantillo is one of them. The crafty lefty has allowed two or fewer runs in every three starts this year, posting a 2.45 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 12.3 K/9. That’s not all that surprising since he closed last year with a 2.81 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 10.0 K/9 over his last 17 outings. All of that makes him an easy option as a two-streamer, especially if he checks out these stats. Baltimore leads the two, with the Orioles ranking 21st in runs scored and 24th in K rate. St. Louis was a mediocre offense, but they were 23 in xwOBA last year.

Jake Burger, TEX (at ATH, at SEA)
Burger King recently made some big changes, so it clearly inspired this Burger to raise its bar. The first baseman had a bad 2024-25 season due to some personal issues, but Texas gave him a big contract for a reason. He had 63 homers between 2023 and 2024, producing a .250 AVG, .488 SLG and .793 OPS. That’s why he was the player to pick at the time, but he’s back to that this season. Burger has been the Rangers’ everyday cleanup, compiling a .271 AVG and .779 OPS through 12 games. That is surprising since he has seven games this week, and four of them are against the A’s. That’s surprising since that’s one of the worst clubs and one of the friendliest parks in MLB.

Max Muncy, ATH (vs. TEX, vs. CWS)
Muncy’s roster percentage has been jumping all week, so this may be the last time you can pick him up. Another interesting exception that can be overlooked is Muncy’s eligibility at 2B, 3B and SS. That’s a tricky list builder, but he couldn’t have had a better planning week. OA have seven games this week, all at home. That might make them the most talked about team this week because that was the highest scoring park in the AL last season. It’s not like these stats are difficult, avoiding Jacob deGrom in the Rangers rotation and facing a Chicago team that ranks 28th in ERA. We haven’t even discussed Muncy, who has a .319 AVG and .907 OPS so far this season.
SAGNOF (Saves/Steals No Face)
Theft Specialists
Nasim Nunez (WAS)
Nunez has been a big surprise for the Nats, stealing seven bases in 10 games this season.
Luisangel Acuna (CWS)
Acuna was a big part of Luis Robert’s trade, and has recorded four steals over his last 10 outings. He also had 180 steals throughout his minor league career, recording 40-plus steals three times.
Keeps Professionals
Bryan Baker (TB)
The Rays have been looking closer in Pete Fairbanks’ absence, and Baker looks like that guy. He collected the team’s first two saves and appeared in the ninth inning in a game when they took a four-run lead.
Jakob Junis (TEX)
Junis has two saves in his past two appearances and appears to have usurped Robert Garcia as the first backup option in Texas.
