Razzball Commenter Leagues, Week 12, 2026 Fantasy Baseball

Hamates are back on the menu this week! My teams look a lot like a hospital ward with all the red flags and signs of IL. Between injuries and a smorgasborg of starting pitcher implosions, this was a week to step back and reassess. Do I really need to hide Logan Henderson when I still have four other players in the IL? How is Ben Joyce? Corbin Burns? Is Spencer Strider cooked and released? Short benches and three IL spots make for very difficult decisions in RCLs. Looks like I should have drafted Gerrit Cole and Carlos Rodon instead of Nick Lodolo and Spencer Strider. Alas, win some, lose some. How are your teams doing? We’re almost at the 50% mark, if you can believe it, but we’re still a few weeks away from the unofficial half, the All-Star break. Let’s take a look at where things stand in the previous week, week 12.
‘PERTY ‘PERTS
Each week we’ll take a peek at our residents to see who wants the best “professional” RCLer in the country. We’ll take notes, check postures and generally trap you. The article is also a link, so feel free to follow along as we go.
Gray continues to climb out of the basement, this week picking up a league-best 5.5 points and moving into ninth place. Gray led the league in R, HR, and RBI. Itch returned to first base thanks to three hits behind a league-best .308 average and 0.96 WHIP. Coolwhip went the other way, losing 6.5 points and ending up in seventh place.
RAZZSLAM STANDINGS UPDATE
Each week we’ll also look at the top ten standings in our other Razzball sponsored league, RazzSlam. This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers like you.

James Sweeney is back on top after a one-week layoff. Andy moved into second as Matt Poole dropped to third. Mike C gets a spot in fourth place overall for TeamRazz! There are a good number of Razzball writers sitting in the top 50. There are four weeks left in the regular season where the top two teams in each league advance to the Championship round. Time to motivate those teams to make a move!
Speaking of making moves, center field legend Enrico Pallazzo had the most points this week with 817, and former center fielder Bunt Singles moved up a lot (68) thanks to his 743 points. It was a middle-aged writer’s extravaganza!
WORKS
All trades that have gone down in the past week. Public ridicule is not only allowed, but encouraged.
| DATE | LEAGUE | DETAILS |
|---|---|---|
| 6/9/2026 | RCL 19 |
Low-End Seamster trades Carson Benge to NCPhilly for Ceddanne Rafaela |
| 6/10/2026 | RCL 4 |
Press Your Luck – No Whammies! traded Josh Jung to Springfield Shrooms for Bryan Reynolds |
| 6/14/2026 | RCL 19 |
Low-End Seamster traded Braden Montgomery to tberkman for Cole Carrigg |
Good cold weather weeks for trading. I find it interesting that Gray keeps talking about who will be better than Montgomery and Carrigg, and these managers trade it directly.

It’s no surprise that after the explosive display in Vegas this past week (102 Runs, 147 Hits, 35 HR) we have a new RBI record and a tie for the HR record. If these numbers hold true in the new ballpark, we’ll be writing more Athletics in 2028.
And some weekly stats from VinWins:
7 teams had an ERA under 2, while 53 teams were over 6 (author’s note: six of these were my teams, ouch)
7 teams hit under .200, and 48 hit over .300!
82 teams had 0 saves this week!
44% of games played. 440 IP is 1000 level. 615 IP is rated at max 1400.

THE CHURCH GROUP
Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it last week.

Team: Clyde
League: RCL 30
Stats: AVG: .263, R: 55, HR: 17, RBI: 65, SB: 11
IP: 53, ERA: 3.57, ERA: 0.943, K: 56, W: 3, SV: 7
Summary: I thought the TOW would be full of Rockies and A’s this week, but it was James Wood who was the clear star offensively, hitting .440 with three homers and three steals. Wood also struck out nine and drove in six. Ceddanne Rafaela (8 RBI) and Josh Naylor (6 RBI) each hit two home runs and stole a base. Max Muncy contributed 2 HR/6 RBI (Dodgers) and 1 HR/5 RBI (A’s). Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Jeremy Pena each added a pair of steals. Shohei Ohtani also hit two long balls, though one missed while being used as a pitcher (6.2 IP/4.05/1.35/6 K). The relievers led the pitching, with Pete Fairbanks, Paul Sewald, and Devin Williams combining for the win and six saves at 1.08/0.96 ratings. Anthony Munoz also “earned” the save, though he allowed two runs in his career inning. Freddy Peralta and Bryce Miller got the only wins from the starting staff, while Kevin Gausman and Michael Soroka had excellent outings, each striking out seven and allowing one run in seven innings. A great week earned Clyde 5.5 points as they held first place. Their lead actually decreased, however, as 2nd place BALLS BALLS earned an 8.5, tough competition!
