Cameron Young finally captured his first PGA Tour victory at last year’s Wyndham Championship, and since then the floodgates have opened for the veteran. He was one of the standout players on the US Ryder Cup team at Bethpage Black, then backed up his first victory in a big way by winning the 2026 Players Championship.
In his next event, Young competed in the 2026 Masters, finishing T3.
Heading into Saturday’s third round of this week’s Cadillac Championship, Young has his sights set on win number 3. Through two rounds, he’s five under par to reach 13 under par so far at Trump Doral’s Blue Monster.
His closest rivals starting Round 3 are Jordan Spieth, who is seeking his first win since 2022, and Nick Taylor.
Meanwhile, new PGA Tour pro Alex Fitzpatrick is at six under T6 in his first appearance at the Signature Event. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is in the same spot after shooting a 67 on Friday.
