Vinicius Jr rocks a new look after chin surgery (yes, it’s really him…)

Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr looks a lot different after chin surgery.
The Brazilian player is reported to have undergone the procedure in his country following his country’s exit from the round of 16 to Norway in the World Cup.
Vinicius underwent chin augmentation surgery that “uses fillers to sculpt the contour of the face” and give more definition to the lower face.
The results are impressive as the 26-year-old looks much younger than the player who was one of the most visible players in world football.
Vinicius made a new appearance at the side of the girl
His new look appeared on the Instagram page of his on-off girlfriend Virginia Fonseca, with Vini accompanying him to the opening of his new gym.
There was also a video of the player wishing a fan a happy birthday.
Vinicius will soon return to Spain to start his pre-season in Madrid under new manager Jose Mourinho.
The Brazilian international’s current contract expires in 12 months, leaving the club at risk of one of their key players leaving on a free transfer in 2027.
And while the opposing player insists there is trust in finding a solution, he is in no rush to sign a new deal.
Speaking to Caze TV in May, he said: “I have never imagined myself outside of Real Madrid.
“Now I am one of the captains, and that is very important. I want to stay here for the rest of my life. I have to talk to Madrid and Madrid has to talk to me. The team is calm and I am calm. The president trusts me and I trust him. We will wait.”
We failed last season, admits Real Madrid star Vinicius
Hopes are high for a better season at the Santiago Bernabeu after a turbulent 2025/26 campaign.
Vinicius Jr had a public falling out with coach Xabi Alonso before he was sacked in January, as Madrid ended a second year without silverware.
“It was a very difficult season,” he said. “We started well before Barcelona, but we started to lose and draw in games that we should have won. We lost confidence and Barcelona gained momentum. It is the first time that I have gone two seasons without winning. We failed. We have a team that we should win next year. Real Madrid always comes back.”
There have also been constant rumors about a lack of harmony in the dressing room, culminating in a clash between Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni that left the former in hospital.
Vinicius Jr highlighted the lack of experience in the team as one contributing factor.
“Without Nacho, without [Luka] Modric, with [Dani] Carvajal is injured, out [Toni] Kroos, they have given a lot of experience to the team,” he said.
“Now Fede and I have experience on the field but not in the locker room, we don’t have enough experience to carry that burden, we still have to continue learning.
“This season we learned a lot about the locker room, next season we will be a better team, more united, better as a team, we are facing a cycle where we have to change our roles to help.
“Sometimes it’s good to see what you had and understand how hard it is to win everything we’ve won. I got used to winning. There’s a lot of pressure. That’s part of being in the best team in the world. People are waiting for us to fail, and we failed two years in a row. We’re not going to fail again.”
