Razzball Commenter Leagues, Week 2, 2026 Fantasy Baseball

It’s the stupidest season in our leagues right now, and it’s going to be a few weeks. This is where we can have big swings in position based on 2-3 days of good (or bad) stats. So, don’t be afraid if you start slow. If you have multiple Astros scheduled, visiting Coors this week, your standings could change quickly. Of course, it can also open the Roki Sasaki stream, so give and take. Our first Master Standings race won’t be until the first week of May, but VinWins has checked out the standings and released all the amazing details for the weekly cycle, and we’ll be doing mini cycles in the weeks in between. Thanks, Vin! Let’s take a look at what we have from last week, week 2

‘PERTY ‘PERTS

Each week we’ll take a peek at our residents to see who wants the best “professional” RCLer in the country. We’ll take notes, check postures and generally trap you. The article is also a link, so feel free to follow along as we go.

Derek led every offensive category except for stolen bases this week to top the list this week. He and B_don scored 11.5 points each and MarmosDad’s run at the top dragged on all week as he dropped 14.5 points and fell to sixth place. Kirksey lost the most points this week, with 17 points in the tail.

RAZZSLAM STANDINGS UPDATE

Each week we’ll also look at the top ten standings in our other Razzball sponsored league, RazzSlam. This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers like you.

RazzSlam, powered by the NFBC, is now in dark mode forever! I got into it. It’s been a great week for Derek, climbing to the top of the ‘Perts League and now sitting pretty in the RazzSlam as well. He and Mike C hold it down in the Razzball team. Special_K_14 had a big week at RazzSlam, scoring 728 points this week and moving up 219 spots to sixth overall.

TOP GROUPS

TEAM LEAGUE PTS
Mudville Nine RCL 1 104.5
There is a drive in deep left field RCL 29 103
The Geeks RCL 15 101.5
Eggplant RCL 16 101.5
LatchKeyKid RCL 28 101.5

Proving that it’s a stupid season, there have been five teams over 100 roto points again, none of them from last week. Congratulations to our fab five!

WORKS

All trades that have gone down in the past week. Public ridicule is not only allowed, but encouraged.

DATE LEAGUE DETAILS
4/2/2026 RCL 23

1DraftDodgers traded Marcus Semien to Btigges for Kazuma Okamoto

4/4/2026 RCL 9

Captain Longballs 2 traded Jacob Wilson and Freddy Peralta to Stargell for Kevin McGonigle

4/5/2026 FCL

The regular Schmohawks traded Jordan Romano to the Hello, It’s Me Again! by Tatsuya Imai

Three deals this week and an absolute steal. Semien’s Okamoto is obscene. Semien has been rejected in many leagues. I love McGonigle, but if someone offered me Wilson and Freddy P, I would have a VERY hard time saying no. I also don’t trust Romano to hold this job for the rest of the year, but I also didn’t trust Pagan last year, so what do I know?

CHURCH LEADERS

The best of the week that was.

R – 57 – Kitten Mittens (ECFBL)

HR –19 – McQuat (RCL 24)

WHIP (Min. 40 IP) – 0.653 – runtheezstreets (RCl 25) (in 49 IP)

A full week, it means new records. How long these records last is TBD, but I’m hopeful that the stolen base record will be crushed soon. Seven ties are not fun, I’m not writing all that. If you want to see tied teams, you can always check Vin’s page, HERE.

Speaking of Vin, he also has some annual data that you can see HERE. This includes the section leaders so far. Vin also dropped some stats to share from the week:

52 teams had an ERA under 2 as pitching dominated early.

40 teams hit under .200 and one hit over .300.

And the stats for the year:

60 teams with 0 saves; 4 doesn’t win. The Bad News Bears (RCL 24) have 8 wins in 61.67 innings for an RCL best 7.7 IP/Win.

30 teams have made 0 years. Average is 11 moves. WAR Bacon (RCL 20) leads with 45.

THE CHURCH GROUP

Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it last week.

IP: 57, ERA: 1.42, ERA: 0.825, K: 76, W: 7, SV: 5

Summary: It’s always nice to get off to a hot start, and There’s a fiery drive. Ben Rice (.421/9 R/3HR/9 RBI) was the top offensive player. Andy Pages hit .583 with two homers and seven runs driven in. Brice Turang hit just .211, but stole three bases. Shohei Ohtani hit a pair of home runs and picked up the win, striking out six in six shutout innings. Chase Burns struck out 16 in 11 innings in two starts, with one win. Jesus Luzardo and Gavin Williams also had game wins as they struck out 11 and 10, respectively.
