Manchester United are expected to announce deals for two players on Friday, Karl Darlow and Andrey Santos.

Fabrizio Romano confirms that Andrey Santos has completed treatment

According to the transmission expert Fabrizio RomanoAndrey Santos successfully completed his trial in Manchester before leaving Chelsea.

The Brazilian midfielder is now set to sign his contract on Friday morning after both clubs completed the necessary formalities.

Manchester United have agreed a deal worth £50 million to sign the 22-year-old, with Chelsea negotiating a 10% sell-on clause as part of the deal.

Santos will pen a long-term contract that runs until June 2031, with the deal including an option for another year.

Karl Darlow is also set to sign on Friday

Meanwhile, United also closed the deal for Leeds United goalkeeper, Karl Darlow.

Romano gave the transfer his signature “here we go” guarantee, saying the 35-year-old will re-sign his official contract on Friday.

Darlow arrives on a free transfer to act as the home pupil of starting goalkeeper Senne Lammens.

The arrival of the experienced Premier League veteran is helping to restructure the squad, paving the way for Altay Bayindir to complete his exit. Bayindir is heavily linked with a return to Turkey, with Besiktas leading the way.

Ederson’s treatment continues as Manchester United close in on a third signing

In addition to the imminent double announcement, a third player is close to signing.

Atalanta midfielder Ederson is currently undergoing a medical with the club after agreeing a deal with the Serie A club.
