Razzball Commenter Leagues, Week 4, 2026 Fantasy Baseball

Four weeks, and the nearest carousel spins in time. I feel like this happens every single season, and every single season, I completely forget about it. Next thing I know, I’m drafting Ryan Walker in the sixth round of the ECFBL because I “have to be close”, forgetting that there will be ten available in the first month if they are waived. The trick is to remember this AND be quick enough to let go to collect the player the boss decides to save next. Ben Brown or Caleb Thielbar? Stick with Romano, Junis, Erceg, and Hoffman, or switch to Pomeranz, Winn, Strahm, and Varland? It’s incredibly frustrating to nail this down. This year, it seems like we should have all drafted Mason Miller at third and let the others ride. If you feel overwhelmed, Razzball’s new tool, i AutoPEN, is alive and ready to help all subscribers with their storage needs. Check it out! Now, after nothing but blowouts, injuries, blowouts, and outbursts of trouble took place in week four of the Razzball Commenter Leagues.

‘PERTY ‘PERTS

Each week we’ll take a peek at our residents to see who wants the best “professional” RCLer in the country. We will take notes, check postures and generally trap you. The article is also a link, so feel free to follow along as we go.

Coolwhip topped the charts this week, with 17 points scored and a three-point jumper. How did you get rid of that, you ask? A clean sweep of the innings helped, including 67.1 IP for a 2.00 ERA and a sub-1 WHIP. And that came with eight wins and six saves. He led the way in stolen bases for good measure. One big week, and you still gain a lot. The one who didn’t gain much this week was The Itch, who lost 13 points and dropped to second place. Gray broke 40!

RAZZSLAM STANDINGS UPDATE

Each week we’ll also look at the top ten standings in our other Razzball sponsored league, RazzSlam. This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers like you.

TopherV holds the top spot this week, but Mike C and Roto-Wan are hot on his heels, overtaking Andy Behrens. Derek is out of the top 10 and this week I’m up to 15 for no reason. The Razzball team looks strong at first.

TOP GROUPS

We’ve expanded the list of 100+ teams to six this week. The three starters from last week are joined by three newcomers to the top team list.

Remembering George I traded Trevor Megill to the Rats Leader for Edward Cabrera

Four trades this week, including a highway robbery at RCL 9. Springer’s Ryan O’Hearn and Naylor are a no-brainer, but good on Blue Sky for pulling that off. Knoche and I made a deal. Cade Smith was my target, but he got into a few spots. I thought he would have a high K/9 and a good save source, instead, he has been a dookie. Knoche sold me PCA last year to get close and I’m hoping for the same McGonigle magic this year.

THE CHURCH GROUP

Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it last week.

Team: Des Morts-Vivants

League: ECFBL

Stats: AVG: .278, R: 71, HR: 24, RBI: 56, SB: 12

IP: 66.2, ERA: 4.18, ERA: 1.20, K: 65, W: 4, SV: 6

Summary: A 24 homer week is ridiculous. I think I have teams that have never hit 24 homers in an entire season. Mike Trout and Jose Ramirez join this group of the living dead. Trout hit five home runs, scored nine runs, and drove in nine others, while Jose also had nine hits and hit .364 with four homers and five stolen bases. Ben Rice (4 HR), Jo Adell (2 HR/8 RBI), and Oneil Cruz (three steals) rounded out this impressive offense. While the pitching wasn’t the best, the 4.18 ERA in this economy is at least decent. Gavin Williams had two hits and 15 strikeouts in 12 innings. He allowed just three runs and walked eleven. Justin Wrobleski threw eight shutout innings for another win. Seth Lugo and Chase Burns had great outings to keep the ratings from complete disaster. They had to win Cole Ragans (6.10/1.65), Garrett Crochet (20.25/3.15), and Shane Baz (6.00/1.50). Another helper was Mason Miller, who recorded four saves without giving up a run and struck out eight. Bryan Baker added two more saves. This great display earned Des Morts 9.5 points this week to tie them in third place in the tough ECFBL.
