Rory McIlroy finished the 2025 Masters at the top of the leaderboard. Now he is starting this year’s Masters at the same venue.
The defending champion made six birdies on Thursday, including three in a row on the back nine, to shoot a 67. McIlroy enters Friday’s second round tied for the lead with Sam Burns at 5 under.
