Newcastle are launching a contact to sign the star who scored 64 PL goals

Newcastle United have now made contact to sign Jarrod Bowen from West Ham United this summer, as they look to improve their attack.
The Magpies’ plan this summer is clear. They need attacking reinforcements and finally they should accept the adequate replacement of Alexander Isak. A job that was given to Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa, but both have been stripped of that role as the former has been pushed into midfield.
A number of options could emerge as a result, including Sporting CP’s Luis Suarez. A Barcelona legend, Suarez is equally capable of scoring goals and is reportedly on St James’ Park’s radar.

However, he is not the only name on it. According to a report in the Daily Mail, Newcastle have launched a bid to sign Bowen this summer. The West Ham captain is now facing a challenge to add to his CV as the Hammers are two points from safety with only two games remaining.
If West Ham are relegated, then the striker’s price tag could drop. Should the London club survive, they could cost around £60m this summer – giving Newcastle plenty to think about.
In terms of development, Bowen will be an immediate improvement on Woltemade and Wissa this summer. There would be natural concerns about the fact that he is only 29 years old and doesn’t have all the work he needs, but Newcastle will still benefit from what he has to offer.

The price may seem steep if West Ham survive this season, but Bowen has proven in London that he can be an instant asset. The versatile striker has scored 64 goals in the Premier League during his senior season, eight of which have come in the current campaign. Whatever the outcome, he certainly did his part.
The club captain has certainly garnered a lot of praise during his time at the London Stadium too, with former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp saying: “Bowen, what a player he’s been, he’s unbelievable. We saw him at Hull too and he was really good then, but I’m not sure many people expected this leap. An unbelievable player.”

It’s hard to argue with Klopp’s decision when you look at the numbers. Bowen has pulled West Ham from a disappointing low and towards Europe’s top flight.
Now, he could offer Newcastle the perfect solution to their attacking woes and Wissa’s rapid development this summer.
