The Elite striker is now seriously considering joining Newcastle after recent talks
Newcastle United are now gifted a boost in their battle to sign the prolific striker this summer, who is considering a move to St James’ Park.
Newcastle are in the race to sign a star striker
It’s no surprise that the Magpies are on a raid for additions. They already lacked a goal threat, but the departure of Anthony Gordon left them depleted.
The PIF simply have to back Eddie Howe with the right addition this time around, having spent money on Nick Woltemade, Anthony Elanaga and Yoane Wissa last summer, all of whom have struggled.

Gordon’s £69m move from Barcelona should certainly boost Newcastle’s spending this summer, despite their failure to qualify for European football.
It could see the likes of Victor Munoz arrive, a controversial player who appears to be very important, and another impressive striker at a low price this summer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported by Sports Witness, Dusan Vlahovic is now considering a move to Newcastle after recent talks with the Magpies.

The Magpies are ready to spend big…
The Serbian striker is set to become a free agent at the end of his Juventus deal this summer and while do-or-die talks have been planned for the Turin club, there is no shortage of potential suitors.
Alongside the Magpies, Vlahovic is also attracting interest from Chelsea – sparking a Premier League battle for his signature. Whether Newcastle can overtake the Blues for an attacking solution is now the big question.
Newcastle should go all out to sign Vlahovic
In terms of attacking solutions on the cheap, it doesn’t get better than Vlahovic this summer. The striker hasn’t always been at his best for Juventus, but so far he has done a goal-scoring job. And that’s exactly what Newcastle need in the end to replace Alexander Isak.
The striker has scored 156 goals throughout his career and at the age of 26, there is still more to come. His arrival at St James’ Park would also make sense considering Woltemade’s new role.
Newcastle thought they had welcomed their new talisman when the Germans arrived last summer. It is already clear that he was not drafted well, he is not an outside striker.
By signing Vlahovic, Howe could move Woltemade into a deeper role without the constant criticism that the former Stuttgart man was initially signed to lead the line.
