Bradley Barcola transfer being eyed by Liverpool and Arsenal

With Barcola currently not making the PSG starting line-up regularly, it stands to reason that he could leave the club this summer.

Barcola is described as a “serious option” for Liverpool by Romano in his latest YouTube post, with Arsenal also interested in the player and considering strengthening in that position.

Fabrizio Romano on the condition of transferring Bradley Barcola

“It is important to say that you should not forget another name in the winger domino in this summer transfer window, and the name of Bradley Barcola, because Liverpool value Barcola very much,” said Romano.

“Barcola has not signed a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain at the moment, so I would say … Barcola could be a serious option for Liverpool again.

“So this could be a domino for Barcola. There is also real interest from Arsenal. Arsenal also like Barcola. Arsenal are thinking of adding an important attacking player. We have to see if he will be a defender, or if he will be a good striker.

“So Arsenal have to decide internally what they want to do. But Barcola is an option for Liverpool. He is a player that has been valued by Liverpool since one year ago.”

What Bradley Barcola can bring to Liverpool or Arsenal

Barcola has skill, pace, and a goal threat from the left side, so he would be a huge upgrade on the likes of Cody Gakpo at Liverpool, and the consistent duo of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard at Arsenal.

The Frenchman may not be around for PSG, but he still has 14 goals and 8 assists in all competitions this season, so it’s easy to imagine how much he could contribute if he gets more playing time.

Of course, we don’t know how Barcola will adapt to English football, and that has been a problem for some of the recent arrivals at Anfield and the Emirates Stadium.

Florian Wirtz and Viktor Gyokeres are two of the club’s biggest signings last summer, and they haven’t looked as good in the Premier League as they did in Germany and Portugal, respectively.

Barcola looks like he has the ingredients to be a top player, but he may have to look closer to home for someone who already has Premier League experience.
