Everton are now planning a major move to sign the Bundesliga star in a big-money deal

Friedkin’s side are preparing to spend big on Everton for the second summer in a row, with Stuttgart’s Jamie Leweling one of several names already on their radar.
Everton are targeting the Bundesliga striker
It may not seem like their European hopes are fading, but Everton have a lot to build on this summer. David Moyes has taken them from relegation trouble to lofty ambitions, and Friedkin’s recruitment plans would suggest the only way from here is up.
The likes of John Stones and Jack Grealish, who could make his loan move permanent, have emerged as early targets. The former player will be a sensational signing and could return to the club for the first time since leaving ten years ago.
It’s not just Manchester where the Toffees are looking to complete their shopping spree. According to Sky Germany, Everton are planning to move Leweling from Stuttgart this summer. The attacking star is attracting a lot of interest and is worth more than €50m (£43m) at the German club.

That opens the door to a deal to record on Merseyside in what could be a statement from those at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
With a 23-goal involvement in all competitions this season, it’s easy to see why Everton have a keen interest in Leweling. The winger could be a suitable alternative to Grealish if the Toffees decide not to renew his permanent loan deal this summer. He also adds that he can play six different positions and becomes the best option.
£43m+ Leweling could replace Grealish
While Grealish has won the hearts of everyone involved at Everton, Leweling may be better off on loan from Man City. The German has been involved in many goals this season and is at the peak of his powers as a 25-year-old striker. You will deserve every penny of the record deal.

The Stuttgart star has outperformed Grealish in several key areas this season. Despite his involvement in his own goals, he has proven to be a key player for his side, with nearly 50% of his take-ons being successful.
Fabian Wohlgemuth’s reputation would suggest that the German is one of the team’s most reliable players, with the Stuttgart boss saying: “Jamie appears in every Bundesliga game [last season]and that number alone shows how important he is to the team.
“His dedication and willingness to work for the team makes him a very important player for us. We also think he has a lot of potential to improve, which is why we decided to sign Jamie down to VfB on a long-term deal.”
