Razzball Commenter Leagues, Week 7, 2026 Fantasy Baseball

*BLOWS THE TRUMPET THIS IS REALLY JUST MY HAND ON THE BELLY WITH A DISGUSTING SOUND*

The time has come, and we have our first review of the Razzball Commenter Leagues overall standings of the year! HUGE thanks to VinWins for collecting the data and to Rudy for connecting it all to the bots and working out the kinks. For those who don’t remember or didn’t read my first article of the season, we will be updating the standings (or close) on the first Monday of each month. So, what did our first annual review tell us? Who leads the RCL universe after the first seven weeks? Let’s find out!

‘PERTY ‘PERTS

Each week we’ll take a peek at our residents to see who wants the best “professional” RCLer in the country. We’ll take notes, check postures and generally trap you. The article is also a link, so feel free to follow along as we go.

Itch averaged 17.5 points over the past two weeks to move into first place, and has returned nine of those (the most in the league) this week as they move into second place. It’s a tight race at the top with Itch, Whip, and Derek all separated by just two points. Several teams scored less this week, with Mike, Grey, and Knoche all scoring 5.5 points as MarmosDad scored five. I was also able to drop eight points as I gave Itch a chance to win his hard-earned money.

RAZZSLAM STANDINGS UPDATE

Each week we’ll also look at the top ten standings in our other Razzball sponsored league, RazzSlam. This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers like you.

James Sweeney remains at the top of the leaderboard for another week. Roto_Wan moved into second place as TopherV continued to slide down the rankings, this week sitting in fourth place overall. Andy held on for fifth, but Mike C dropped to seventh overall. Kevin Hasting made the top 10 this week thanks to a league-leading 693 points. He shot 18 points in the effort. Dan Richards, last year’s consolation winner, was the best performer this week, moving up 65 places to 97th thanks to a week of 615 points.

You will see many of these names in previous reviews. It makes sense that the teams that continue to hit the leaderboards/TOW will be here in the first update. There is a drive that takes the top spot in our first run, followed by Bucks at 6 and a familiar face, DFresh. Both ECFBL and COUGS have two teams in the top 20, winning these leagues will not be easy. NOTLZ and LHC both topped the LCI rankings, with each league ranking 105th. Congratulations to our top 20!

I’m not sure why the leagues haven’t arrived yet. Rudy is on it, but I filled them in by hand in the chart above. That should be fixed for the next update.

WORKS

All trades that have gone down in the past week. Public ridicule is not only allowed, but encouraged.

DATE LEAGUE DETAILS
5/6/2026 RCL 9

El Duderinos trade Freddie Freeman and Munetaka Murakami to cjsullivan3 via Nick Kurtz

5/7/2026 RCL 19

Low-End Seamster sold Jarren Duran to Sea Pilots via Drew Rasmussen

5/10/2026 RCL 31

WahooFan76 traded Paul Skenes to Juan Soto’s cubbiebluez

Just three deals this week, but they involve a few doozies. Skenes’ Soto is very sweet and a balanced feast. I also like Murakami’s deal. Freddie is a good pick if you have to get off the ground and I think Roba (I’m going to make this nickname stick) besides Kurtz.

The tied the record for weekly hits, so now, two members of RCL 22 are tied (PlatanoPowers is the other) in the hit crown.

Josh Naylor has been alive this week, and new acquisition, Travis Bazzana, swiped five bags to help my team lead the week in steals.

49 teams hit under .200, and 3 hit over .300.

THE CHURCH GROUP

Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it last week.

Team: Josheast

League: A NIGHT OF THE LIVING FIELDS

Stats: AVG: .289, R: 50, HR: 18, RBI: 46, SB: 12

Summary: Josh’s #1 pick, Bobby Witt, Jr., paced the offense, hitting .450 with three home runs and two steals. Spencer Steer, Drake Baldwin, Wilyer Abreu, Rafael Devers, and Brandon Lowe all hit two home runs, while Pete Crow-Armstrong recorded a home run and 3 stolen bases. Payton Tolle had a great Week 2 start, and contributed a win and 12 strikeouts in 12 innings of action. He allowed just three runs and nine baserunners. Mitch Keller and Randy Vasquez each won their starts. Graham Ashcraft only pitched 4 2/3 innings, but he picked up seven Ks. Rico Garcia and Devin Williams both picked up a game and two saves, while striking out four. The big week was a blessing for Josh, who earned them 21.5 points and moved them from ninth to fifth in one of the toughest leagues in the RCL.
