Horsham Golf to open new retail experience for women – Golf News

Female golfers who are frustrated by the lack of options and sizing options when it comes to shopping for golf apparel and footwear at the traditional golf club will be happy to know that a new item is opening in the southeast later this month designed specifically to address these issues.
Horsham Golf in West Sussex has launched a new retail concept aimed at changing the shopping landscape for female golfers, with the launch of a dedicated shop-style area called ‘edit’.
The new store, officially opening on May 23, in a private building next to the club’s main buildings, represents a move away from the traditional store model, offering a more relaxed, personalized environment designed for women.
Open to both members and guests, the space is designed to feel welcoming and inclusive, catering for everyone from newcomers to experienced players.
The store features a curated selection of apparel, footwear and accessories from leading golf and sportswear brands, including Ping, Röhnisch, G/FORE, J.Lindeberg, Glenmuir, Adidas, Puma and Under Armour. The emphasis is on combining function and style, while ensuring a consistent fit – an area often highlighted as a challenge in women’s golf clothing.
The main feature of arrange The idea is to focus on the customer experience. Visitors can browse at their own pace in a relaxed environment, with access to expert advice from a female member of the sales team. This space also includes a dedicated changing area, reinforcing its boutique feel.
If we’re going from another typical golf course, arrange will be available by private booking, and select times for walk-in customers. Individuals or small groups of up to five can reserve exclusive access to the store, creating a personalized and social shopping experience. Customers who book in advance will receive a £10 voucher to use during their visit.

Horsham Golf General Manager, Mike Yorke, said the program was driven by a clear gap in the market. She said: “The retail experience for women golfers has always been limited and impersonal, yet the women’s game is growing rapidly. arrangewe wanted to create a warm, welcoming environment where women can browse the best brands in comfort, whether alone or with friends.”
The club, whose facilities include an 18-hole golf course, a 9-hole par-3 course and a 16-bay driving range, hopes the concept will not only enhance its retail offering but also encourage more women to engage in the sport in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Official launch of arrange will be held on Saturday, May 23, the store is open to everyone from 10 am to 5 pm.
