Man Utd have finally agreed a deal for the midfielder which spells the end of the Casemiro era

Manchester United are set to bid farewell to Casemiro at the end of the season in a deal that has now been agreed which will see one of the rising stars take his place.

Benjamin Sesko is in awe of “working machine” Casemiro and is picking up all he can from the Manchester United fan favorite ahead of his summer exit.
The 34-year-old has never tasted what he enjoyed at Real Madrid but has developed a special relationship with the fans, which has increased since it was confirmed in January that he would leave at the end of his contract.
United fans once again chanted for Casemiro to stay on for another season after he opened the scoring in Monday’s game, a match against Brentford.
The club face a tall order trying to replace him this summer, with the future of captain Bruno Fernandes sure to be under the microscope again.
The 31-year-old moved one away from equaling the Premier League record for assists in a single season by providing his 19th of the campaign when he set up Sesko, who revealed how the players felt about Casemiro’s exit.
“He is a working machine,” said the Slovenian striker. “He has experience, what he puts on the field is unbelievable, you need someone like this.
“Unfortunately he is leaving but… we are happy that we can carry him until the last minute of the game and we will use him.
“The way you look at him is very important, you know? And I think you’d be a fool if you didn’t look at him and try to be like him when it comes to work level and stuff and I think everyone is happy that he’s here.
“Unfortunately he is leaving but, yes, it is important to keep him like this.”
Head coach Michael Carrick has poured cold water on the Brazilian player’s possible stay, and since the Red Devils are expected to sign two new midfielders this summer, they have already found someone to step into the shoes by agreeing to a new long-term contract with Kobbie Mainoo.

Indeed, Fabrizio Romano reported on Tuesday that the 21-year-old Mainoo will sign a new and improved contract that runs until June 2031.
After following up on Wednesday, Romano shared a new update without saying anything, tweeting Mainoo with emojis showing a contract being signed and a ‘not too soon’ sign.
Mainoo impressed in wins over Chelsea and Brentford, and Carrick heaped praise on him after Monday’s win over the Bees.
“Like Chelsea, he has shown that he is perfect with and without the ball, in both defensive and attacking roles.
“We know he can do it and it’s good to see him show it. He’s in great form at the moment.”
United will be hoping to find a midfield partner for the youngster in the transfer window, but could miss out on Elliot Anderson with the Nottingham Forest star approaching Manchester City.
