Matt Fitzpatrick and his brother Alex are participating in this week’s Zurich Classic for the second year in a row, and this year, young Alex Fitzpatrick is facing an unexpected opportunity. Should he and his brother win Sunday in New Orleans, Alex will be in line for a winner’s exemption from the PGA Tour, which would be a lifetime gift from one brother to the other – granting access to the PGA Tour.

After a strong performance over the weekend, the Fitzpatricks are the team to beat on Sunday afternoon in New Orleans. They lead with four competitors Alex Smalley-Hayden Springer and Austin Eckroat-Davis Thompson.

In the final round, all players will compete in a foursomes (one shot) format, which could cause a lot of movement on the leaderboard.
