Big Max has launched a new range of premium golf bags made from proprietary materials that have been in the making for five years.
Developed with the aim of creating a material that gives the soft feel of leather, but without its natural weakness, and that was harder wearing than polyurethane, Big Max’s R&D team came up with SoftGuard PU.
SoftGuard PU combines qualities rarely found in common materials. It is also scratch resistant, allowing the surface to retain its character even after heavy use. It is also water-repellent and weather-resistant, working reliably in many different conditions. It is easy to clean, without the need for extensive maintenance or treatment.
It is durable and structurally stable and durable, preserving both its shape and its face over time. At the same time, it feels soft and luxurious to the touch, and tough enough to handle the everyday realities of golf, from the cart to the car boot, from airport carousers to the driving range.
