Man Utd are now in talks to sign the £87m Real Madrid star with the same agent as Mbeumo
Manchester United have now held transfer talks to sign Real Madrid star Aurelien Tchouameni, following a fresh update on his future at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Update on Tchouameni’s Real Madrid future
Chouameni has been a key player for Real Madrid this season, in a poor campaign by their usual standards, exiting the Champions League, before falling six points behind FC Barcelona in the La Liga title race.
Still, it’s been a solid campaign for the Frenchman on a personal level, as he’s completed 59.4 of 90 passes accurately in La Liga, the third-highest number in the club.
It seems that the club’s managers have been impressed with the midfielder’s performance, a report from TEAMtalk reveals that the Spanish club are keen to sign him, and are preparing to hold talks regarding a new contract.
Madrid’s eagerness to renew the 44-year-old France international’s current contract comes amid intense interest from the Premier League, with Man United and Liverpool now keen on his signature.
In fact, INEOS have held talks with Tchouameni’s agents to explore the possibility of a summer deal, which could be on the expensive side, as he arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu for £87m from AS Monaco in 2022.
Hailed as “unbelievable” by content creator Zaan, the central midfielder, who is represented by the same agency as Bryan Mbeumo, has started more league games than any Real Madrid player apart from Federico Valverde this season, and is enjoying himself at the Spanish club.
Therefore, the Red Devils may struggle to make a deal this summer, and may be forced to move on to other midfielder targets, which is not in short supply, with Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte likely to leave.

Is anyone approaching Bruno Fernandes right now?
Man Utd are looking for more midfielders, Casemiro is about to leave
It would be difficult for Man United to find a replacement for Casemiro, the 34-year-old who has the second-highest FotMob match rating in the club this season (7.31), behind only Bruno Fernandes.
However, there are plenty of options on the shortlist, including Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali, Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller, Atalanta maestro Ederson and Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson.
Teddy Sheringham even suggested that the Red Devils should make a double swoop for Anderson and Forest team-mate Morgan Gibbs-White, who recently scored a hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur.
“I understand why Forest didn’t let him go because of the quality of the player he is.
“He’s very different from Anderson – he goes forward, he’s very strong, he wants to fight people, and the anger and the desire to win comes from him. I think he’s a great player.
“He comes off a little differently to Anderson, but they complement each other well in the midfield.
“They can [United] did you get both? Money talks, doesn’t it, and what a perfect duo to add to the Manchester United squad. “
